  After I’d placed the order I realised I’d forgotten an item. I rang customer services to ask if they could add the item, they said yes and emailed an invoice within the half hour. Customer services were very pleasant to deal with and the products arrived, swiftly and were well packed.

  I was happy with the product and the service from Cowling & Wilcox. However, I was not pleased with the delivery. The package clearly stated my address as number 37, but the package was left in full view on the front doorstep of number 19.

  I received the order in good time, but unfortunately, one of the two canvases was badly twisted. This was possibly due to poor handling by the courier, however, the parcel was not packaged well enough in my opinion, just a single thin outer cardboard box. This may be fine for a small canvas, but inadequate for a larger one. I have since ordered several large canvases from a different company and they all arrived intact but arrived better wrapped and protected.

  Thank you for taking the time to explain the situation regarding your delivery. I'm so sorry your goods turned up in the way they did. Normally, our couriers are pretty good but sometimes they excel themselves in the damage they can do and we wonder how this is even possible. We do endeavour to wrap our canvasses (and indeed all of our parcels) as robustly as possible using reinforcements and foam corners. I hope these were used in your case. I know we've been in touch with you recently and you kindly explained all the work you've done to repair the canvas.   Great quality canvas and good delivery time. Would have been 5* but the packing arrived ripped which meant I had to push out a dent in the canvas. I suspect this was the fault of the delivery company though. Now it’s painted up you can’t tell so I’m still happy with my purchase

  Site is easy to use, great range of products, ordering is easy, despatch was quick and the parcel arrived on time via DHL. It wasn't particularly well protected though, just wrapped in brown paper, however the item inside wasn't easily breakable so it wasn't a problem.
