  Good company & have used them several times over the years with no problems . The last parcel i had was very badly wrapped though & miracle all the paints were still in there but all survived luckily !

  Purchase online was easy! the delivery time was good but fell short in that i gave instructions to leave my purchase with a neighbour! when i got home i had a card from the postman instructing me to collect from the post office! That is further to travel than actually going to the company. Lucky for me i saw the post mans van and ran down the road to recover my purchase.! That all said the goods are exactly what i wanted and I will use this company again!

  I purchase my watercolour paper from C&W in batches of 50 sheets which can be used both sides if you want. It's good robust paper at 280gsm (NOT) and extremely cost effective for me as a relative beginner, It's ideal. delivery is always prompt and well packaged. Highly recommended.

  It took over 2 weeks to receive my order of paint and some of it was out of stock and also some had leaked apparently, they needed my email approval twice to replace or refund and I was unaware of the emails which delayed things further. I needed this order urgently to finish a series of paintings for works going into several galleries in the UK and it was a very frustrating waiting experience. It is my first and last order from this company, I had to shop at Hobbycraft in the meantime. A real shame, paint was good and cheaper then elsewhere when it finally arrived. Communication was okay but the delays were unacceptable really and a phone call would have helped, it if is in stock online it should be available and if out of stock at least send the rest of the order in the meantime.

  Unusually for Cowling & Wilcox my order was badly packed. The boxes inside were slightly crushed and two of the four brushes were sticking out of a hole in the side of the main box. The package looked as if it had been hastily packed and poorly sealed with selotape.
