  Staff in my local shop (Canterbury) are always really helpful and knowledgeable. On line is generally good too but I struggle to see the size of the canvasses as they are white on white. Delivery is always prompt.

  Arrived quickly. However, the measurements of the canvas that were provided in cm are incorrect (missing decimal places), so they are useless for the purpose I intended them for (frame is too small).

  I am sorry that I can only give average comments as I was disappointed in the service having ordered my daughter - in laws present from you in good time to be delivered to her I then had to chase it nearly a week later only to find that you still had not sent it out. It eventually arrived just in time in fact it was the day of her birthday. If i hadn't chased it , it would not have arrived even then.

  Can of spray varnish arrived with the lid broken and the aerosol part disconnected. It now keeps falling off. Annoying as I haven't even used it. The padded envelope packaging isn't suitable for sending this product. Sorry!!

  I started to have problems with paints description, and I end up with semitransparent colour pots which I dislike, and do not really want to spend does amounts of money.... All art suppliers do this, and take advantage of buyers online! So 1 star is good enough for all of you!

  Cowling & Wilcox provide a good service and also a reasonable selection of artists materials which, when on sale or special offer are at almost equal cost to other suppliers. The online buying process is thorough, but a bit too repetitive in the number of confirmatory steps; confirming the order once should be enough. Delivery time and condition of items on arrival is good.
