  I was a bit apprehensive buying from them at first as they have a .co.uk website and based in France but after speaking to them (for advice) I was happy to buy from them. The only negative comment I can find is that there was not enough packaging in the box when I received my snowboard. Just a couple of pieces of paper at each end.

  I have debated writing this review since I had a strange experience. Firstly I want to highlight that I made a large order, upward of €1500 so my entire boarding kit (including helmet, outerwear, and goggles) were from here. Secondly, I want to say that when I was on the phone with the equipment expert (Lucas) he was friendly, informative, and receptive. Now with that said, while most of the equipment is good and I got a good deal. I had multiple delivery issues that went on for months, this apparently was suppliers side, but there was little in the form of communication and compensation to me. I ordered in October, the board was on pre-order for end of October, there were issues from the supplier which is not Glisshops fault, but they failed to inform me about these issues and only provided me with a solution after 2 months of waiting leaving me only a couple of weeks before my planned ski trip. The solution was to go for a completely different board so that it would arrive in time for my season. I had mentioned that I would need it in time for my season when I ordered but evidently that did not help. Again whenever I spoke to them on the phone they were very friendly, however their handling of this issue was very reactive as I had to call multiple times rather than them reaching out to me. All that said, the equipment I have now I am very happy with (except for the Winter Your Life board bag, which was given for free yet I had to pay shipping as it wasn't included in the initial order as it should have been) and even though I had to switch to a different board, my preferences were considered and the other board that was suggested to me fits my specifications well. I hope that my case is an exception to an otherwise good customer experience normally. I thought I would put this here in the hope that Glisshop can improve its communication channels and handling of these kind of situations going forward. All in all I am unsure if I would trust them again with such a big order, but I also do think there is a solid company at the heart of this and I was just unlucky.

  Even remotely online, the amount of support through the website, subsequently direct, at least matches some of the better known physical stores. My new boot is 1cm bigger than the older. I had watched some videos on YouTube as to how to change the binding to fit - asked Glisshop the same question. In words, the same thing I had seen. Got skis out, flipped lever at the back, pulled the binding back more than expected, inserted boot into the toe, moved binding up so the step in was perfectly aligned, flipped the lever back, pushed boots in. Stable. I wrote a note to them saying due to your advice, and YouTube, the boots fit perfectly. Thank you for the ongoing support. Favourite older skiis with new can-ski-it-all boots (vs older racing boots). Looking forward to going out with comfortable feet, doing some nice turns, letting my son do his own thing (as straight as he can down the hill, any jumps to the side, any smaller jumps in park... with some vague idea how to ski).

  Was a little concerned with some of the reviews but i can only judge on my experience. Ordered skis and boots for my wife and both orders came separate withinn days of each other with individual tracking numbers. Skis had been set to boots as requested and everything was in perfect condition. So happy i have just ordered another set of skis and boots for myself. Thanks Glisshop

  It was a good price but the customer service was not existent. the phone number did not work, so I emailed twice. One for product advice second for update about my order. One email was responded to but very late. It delayed my order not being able to get advice and then the order didn't come when expected and there was no one to help. Meant I had to spend all the money I'd saved renting skis. :(
