  I was surprised and skeptical about using iDealWine for my purchase. I was able to find 2 bottles of a very difficult to find whiskey and at a great price. I don't like how long it takes to receive the whiskey, mainly because I am impatient, but was super happy once I did receive it.

  Servizio clienti scarso e tempi di consegna inaccettabili. Vino ordinato il 16/11/2023 per fare regali di Natale. Premessa: sul sito sono dichiarati tempi di consegna in Italia da 3 a 7 giorni lavorativi. Il 27/11 comunico via mail a servizio clienti Idealwine che il corriere mi ha informato che il pacco è in restituzione perchè danneggiato, specificando che la consegna è urgente perchè il vino è da regalare. Dopo un sollecito mi viene risposto che devono fare verifiche e aspettare la restituzione del pacco. Dopo diverse mail di sollecito mi dicono che le bottiglie sono tornate alcune danneggiate e altre con etichetta macchiata. Ricevo il vino il 27/12, 41 GIORNI dopo l'ordine, con 3 bottiglie con etichetta macchiata e una completamente rovinata. Non hanno neanche avuto la premura di cambiarle. In tutto questo non una parola di scuse o di dispiacere per l'accaduto. VERGOGNOSO.

  They sell oxidized wines and they refuse to answer and give a solution if the wine is defective. I bought a 580 EUR wine (1995 JL Chave Hermitage) and it was completely faulty. Idealwine didn't answer me and they are refusing to refund me.

  I am baffled about the current situation, with the delivery being much later than expected, taxes being charged twice for one order, and some of the items I purchased not arriving. I'm also very disappointed that I spent such a long time checking for your mistakes at midnight.

  Unsafe packaging and horrible customer service I bought 12 bottles of Champagne Andre Robert to celebrate my birthday with my friends and being a client of iDealwine for two years I really believed that they were trustworthy and professional, but I was totally wrong. I went to the local post office to pick up the box with the 12 bottles of champagne and when I lifted the box the 12 bottles fall through the bottom. It was a big explosion of champagne and me and the workers of the post office get the champagne and the broken glass small pieces over us. I never had experience something like that, the box looks poorly sealed with only one piece of scotch tape about 4 cm width. The local post office said that they don´t take any responsibility because the box is not closed and sealed in a safe way. I think that for the weight of 12 bottles of champagne that’s around 20 Kg must be necessary to use something stronger and all the way of the box and not a simple scotch tape in one only place. Only 3 of the bottles of champagne survived the crass with the floor. The workers at the post office means that is the company that sends the packet that has the responsibility to do it in a safe way. The workers of the post office told me that they have all the event taped on video ready for iDealwine if they don´t believe my words and photographs and I send to iDealwine the telephone, mail, and address of the post office in Copenhagen, but they prefer to accuse me of manipulate the tape that was broken. A real display of arrogance, denial, and avoidance of their responsibility. They offer to give me back a 10% of the value as a “gestus” A “gestus” of what? Of arrogance and denial? Why must I assume the 90% of iDealwine lack of professionality packing wine? I am sure I didn´t did any wrong. What could I did different to not get the bottles falling through the bottom of the box to the floor? How I suppose to transport the bottles from the post office to my home without lifting it? With teletransportation? The workers at the post office assured me that is the company that sends the packet that has the responsibility to do it in a safe way. I have been buying wine online for 25 years from many different companies around the world and never experience so bad packaging and so bad costumer service before. There are so many wine companies in the world that know how to package the wine safety and give a good customer service that I can only recommend iDealwine for masochist

  The choice is very good, and there are auctioned items as well as fixed price items. It is not always obvious to find where the value is, you have to rely on your own knowledge as the estimates given by the site are very subjective. Finally, beware of the roughly 25% that will be added to the auction price, a figure that is almost impossible to find. Shipping works well too, though packaging is very wasteful and definitely not sustainable, if you care for those things, as I do.

  Everything on the IDEALWINE side went perfect and fast, however the local spanish delivery (SEUR) is that worst company to deal with. They sent an e-mail stating that the delivery was going to be from 15:00 to 16:00, I purposly sat on a bench outside my door during these hours to check if they arrive. They never did but later that day I received an e-mail stating that I was not home for the delivery.

  I had a very bizarre experience with iDealWine. I had ordered 12 bottles of red wine. The parcel arrived even earlier than expected but contained only 5 bottles. 7 of the 12 compartments were empty, just filled with paper. I complained to the customer service and received a polite reaction from them. I was asked to send photos of the parcel and an investigation with the delivery service was initiated. After some days Mr. Bruneau concluded that I was trustworthy enough and as the vintage of my wine order was not anymore in stock, he offered to reimburse me the costs for the 7 bottles that never arrived incl. a partly refund of the delivery costs. I would like to commend and thank iDealWine for their professional dealing with the issue. Right after the incident I was mistrusting the company because I felt betrayed and thought that ordering at iDealWine would not be reliable. But after Mr. Bruneau‘s reaction, I regained trust again in the company. Although we could not detect the reason for the faulty delivery, I would consider again buying wine from iDealWine.

  good site. Not always the cheapest prices, but they have some wines that are hard to find elsewhere. Delivery was trouble free, But their shipping costs are REALLY high : €34 pr. 12 bottles, and no reduction if you buy more. This is way higher than other wine-sites. (I just paid €12,50 shipping for 12 bottles on another site)
