I recently tried the spicy tuna poke bowl from a local restaurant, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. Despite the name of the dish, it was not at all spicy. The tuna itself lacked flavor and tasted very bland. Overall, the poke bowl was very disappointing and did not leave a lasting impression. I would not recommend this dish to anyone looking for a flavorful and spicy meal.

Very satisfied! Very fresh for everything sushi and sashimi. Excellent presentation. Only issue: gyoza. Came cold and felt difficult to chew, like if they were not fresh. Hence the one star rating. Yakitori was lukewarm and tasty, so 3 stars. Website navigation is not great. Worst it includes a menu pdf file (clicking on the top right corner) which features the collab with Paul Pairret. None of his recipe are available. Google it and found out that it was in 2022…! Very very frustrating….

The quality of the sushi last definitely declined significantly over the last year or 2 from the branch in Notting Hill. Ive been ordering on a regular basis since 2020 and I after a few recent disappointing orders where the rice isn't fresh, the thickness of the fish on the specialty rolls is far less generous than it used to be. Not sure if this is a more global issue or just relevant to my local branch. I will no longer be using Sushi shop, not to mention they failed to include to or my ordered sushi rolls.

Overall, very disappointing. The quality of the food is average at best, the order was wrong. The hot food was freezing cold and we received no soy sauce, wasabi or ginger so the sushi didn’t taste as good as it perhaps could have. We phoned to complain and were told we had the wrong shop. The next number we were given didn’t answer. I would rate sticks n sushi or Kibou highly over this place

We had to wait over half an hour for a takeaway order that we had pre booked via the app. A lot of other people were waiting for ages too. As a new shop there should have been more staff on a Friday night. Disappointing start after much anticipation. Sushi overall was tasty but a bit dry.

You have again reduced the amount of fish in the box. The cucumber makis replaced the salmon makis. It is not really a sushi box anymore, half of the makis do not have fish and the ones that have fish do not have enough of it. I was in Luxembourg two weeks ago and sushi shop offered better sushis for the price. I do not think that we will order again.

I received a notification on my phone about the Happy Box deal. We also ordered an extra box. I was then told on the phone it was "collection only". This was not clear on my phone message at all. I had to borrow a car to pick up my order and the road works in Richmond meant the whole journey to pick up the food was over half an hour. The lady in the shop didn't seem particularly sorry for this, when I told her, didn't smile a welcome and didn't make me feel your company cares. There are a lot of other Sushi places who do better.
