Verified reviewI received my product in an absolutely shocking state. The first thing I noticed when the delivery dropped off the product was that it had been repackaged as I could see the tape used for the previous purchaser. Once I opened the box I noticed a small screw in the box so I set this to one side thinking it was a spare. After I put the legs on my product I stood it upright and noticed that the screw that I had found had caused a very large scratch on the top of the cabinet. Further to this I noticed that the doors did not align and when opened they would smash against each other. I had to push one of the doors in to get them to close. The final issue was with the hinge on the middle draw. The screw that had come out was from the hinge which was hanging off. The final thing that I noticed about the product was that some panels of the product were finished (varnished/policed/smooth) and others were left unpolished or varnished. They felt rough to the touch. I contacted customer services immediately and they could not be more apologetic. I was offered a range of refund options from £150 off my product to £175 gift voucher. In the end, due to the state of the product I opted for a full refund. Although I would not use Tikamoon again due to the low quality finish of these expensive products, I was really impressed with how their customer support team helped me to receive a refund quickly and efficiently.

In reference to the roughness of the wood, Our production team has advised that the units have been oiled to feed and nourish the wood, helping to highlight the grain. It is totally normal the surface feels rough, this is from the sanding of the unit and a character of solid wood. We are happy to hear that you were satisfied with our customer service, and we find it a shame that you no longer wish to purchase with us again.
