Verified reviewI chose Tikamoon because it presents itself as a premium furniture brand. After spending over £1,200 on six teak garden chairs, I expected premium quality and premium customer service. Instead, two of the six chairs (one third of my order) arrived with structural cracks in the wooden frame. These were not minor cosmetic imperfections but defects that were immediately visible when I unpacked the chairs. I reported the issue within minutes of delivery and provided photographs straight away. What disappointed me most was not the manufacturing defect itself—these things can occasionally happen—but the way Tikamoon handled the situation afterwards. Their initial offer was £42.50 compensation for each damaged chair, despite each chair costing approximately £209. Only after I challenged this did they increase the offer to £55 per chair. Even then, the compensation represented barely a quarter of the purchase price for chairs that should never have passed quality control. The alternative was to wait around three weeks for replacements. This completely ignored the fact that I bought the chairs to use immediately during the summer, and that replacement teak chairs would naturally differ in colour from the four chairs already exposed outdoors, leaving me with a mismatched set. The voucher option was equally unrealistic after I had just spent over £1,200 with the company. What is particularly disappointing is that there was no genuine attempt to find a customer-focused solution. Every proposal felt like a standard policy rather than an effort to resolve the situation fairly. I had to negotiate repeatedly simply to obtain a modest increase in compensation. When you position yourself as a premium retailer and charge premium prices, customers rightly expect premium after-sales service. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. The furniture design is attractive, but based on my experience, Tikamoon’s quality control and customer service fall well short of the standards their prices suggest. I would think very carefully before placing another large order with them.

Verified reviewI bought a dining table which arrived with a scratch. I was offered 10% refund and told this is not covered by warranty. Going back and forth and not resolving the issue. Purchased many items from this website. Every room has a couple of peaces from Tikamoon. Their customers service approach has changed and it is not customer focused anymore.

Verified reviewI have never had such a frustrating… I have never had such a frustrating delivery experience. I purchased a sideboard (£799) and a vase (£150), and I specifically paid an additional £70 for Tikamoon's premium delivery service. According to the service description, the furniture should be delivered to the room of your choice, unpacked, inspected, and signed for. Instead, I received a call from BJS Home Delivery before delivery informing me they would not deliver anything above the second floor. I explained that I live on the third floor and that leaving a large sideboard on the second-floor communal landing would literally block the communal hallway. The manager was dismissive, refused to listen, and ended the call while I was still trying to explain the situation. I contacted Tikamoon, who told me they would contact BJS Home Delivery and ask them to complete the delivery to the third floor. When the delivery team arrived, they completely ignored this. They were rude, aggressive, and unprofessional from the moment they arrived. They left the furniture in the hallway, then attempted to take it back, shouting that I had to immediately decide whether I was accepting or refusing the delivery. When I explained that Tikamoon had contacted them regarding the third-floor delivery, I was simply told, "I don't care. I don't work for Tikamoon." Tikamoon then distanced themselves from the issue, saying it was the courier's responsibility. When I contacted customer service again, I was told I would have to pay another £10 for third-floor delivery—something that was never offered as an option during checkout. Why advertise a £70 premium delivery service that promises delivery to the room of your choice if that apparently isn't included? After around 30 minutes of arguing and several phone calls to their manager, the delivery team finally agreed to bring the furniture upstairs. Even then, they simply left everything in the middle of my living room. They did not unpack the items, did not inspect them, and did not allow me to check everything before requesting a signature, despite this being part of the premium service I had paid for. As a result, I later discovered that the vase was broken and the sideboard has a scratch. To make matters worse, I submitted a formal complaint to BJS Home Delivery, and they never even bothered to respond. No acknowledgement, no apology, no follow-up—absolutely nothing. That level of customer service is unacceptable. Never again
