Hi. I've got a message indicating that the purchase wasn't delivered due to incomplete address. I'm quite sure that I filled the purchase form with correct data but, just in case, the correct address is PRACETA ENG VON HAFF, 30, SEGUNDO DIREITO, AVEIRO, PORTUGAL, ZIP CODE 3800-185. Verified reviewWebsite took payment then crashed without creating the order, had to follow up myself to get a refund. Re-ordered successfully, shipped rather slowly but it did arrive. The product is great, well made and just want I wanted, but... And it's a big but. Then they gave my email address, my name, and my purchase history to a third party marketing company (this site, Verified Reviews) without my permission or knowledge, who then proceeded to send me marketing emails. Totally unacceptable to share this information in this way.

My information *WAS* given to Verified Reviews - the email inviting me to review the product was sent from *their* servers, and contained my name and the product I bought. The only organisation who could have known those pieces of information was Peugeot, and now Verified Reviews does. That means Peugeot gave them that information. That's the problem, there is not an "impression" my information was inappropriately used - it was inappropriately used and shared.

Verified Reviews exists to provide sellers with intelligence based on review data - you are providing a marketing company with this private data because that is what they provide in return. That is the commercial exploitation and commercial transaction that is occurring, and how Verified Reviews funds its operations. Maybe the solution is to add an opt-out (or better, an opt-in) tick box during the ordering process, which asks customers if they would mind their purchase and personal details passed to the third party for purposes of product and service review?

Verified reviewI didn’t receive the order. No contact about the delivery, then it was returned. Peugeot were not very helpful and didn’t seem too bothered. Pretty poor.
