Verified reviewThis is my third time using Waveinn and now unfortunately probably the last. I spent a fair bit of time looking for and researching the Penn 460 slammer live liner before committing to purchase it. As always Waveinn was the cheapest place I could find one. Shipping is longer than buying from the UK but always arrives on or just before the estimated time. The packaging is always good and considering how far your package travels, always arrives in pristine condition. HERE'S my issue, The reel which arrived was not the reel which was advertised!!! The pictures and write up of the reel were for a live liner spinning reel which is the reason I went for it. The reel which arived was a Penn slammer 460, which is not a live liner with a rear drag and switch which was clearly pictured in the add, And which was described in the write up!!! Although this reel is a fantastic bit of kit it's not what was ordered or expected. I contacted customer service to raise the issue but have not received any reply for over a week? Admittedly I made it clear that I would keep the reel as I don't need or want the hassle of returning it, I would have expected a response to my query if just for an apology or an explanation?? This has now made dealing with Waveinn in the future a bit of a problem, as I can no longer trust the description of a product and hope to receive what i think I have ordered??? If a supplier goes to the trouble of photographing and describing an item then they should have the decency to supply said item!!! And customer service should have the decency to reply to an Email you would have thought?? One star would be harsh but this review deserves no more than two. This experience is of my own opinion but I hope I brings to the surface a problem that Waveinn should look into, and make any potential buyers ask questions and double check before buying and being disappointed??

I’ve contacted customer support a number of times and they keep telling me to contact the delivery firm as they can help. I’ve not been able to resolve this problem and I would advise anyone shopping with this company to be careful. The customer service is dreadful!

I’ve given up with this company. I won’t be using them again.they are refusing to take responsibility. It’s been signed for by god knows who and the signature is a pathetic squiggly line. They’ve made no attempt to sign it as me I can even send my driving licence to compare it to.
