My order took a month to be delivered. I placed the order on 16th November and yet it transpired that it hadn't even been dispatched until 30th. During this time, no reason or apology was sent to explain this delay. When the order eventually arrived it was incorrect. The only saving grace was that a refund was supplied for the missing items - but I would much rather have had them in a timely fashion.

My experience so far is to select and pay for goods which are not then delivered. The delivery company Hermes failed to find our address which has been here for 40 years and returned the item to you. I suggest you find a reliable delivery company and either return our money or provided the goods. Update Still had no contact from customer service as promised. But have had 2 deliveries today from Hermes via separate companies with no problems! How long is a couple of days replying to me? This is a Christmas present and it will be difficult to explain why someone has got nothing from me on Xmas day.

I have had several dealings with this company and have always found them to be professional in both service and delivery. They constantly update you with any problems that may arise due to shortage of stock or even delivery delays, especially over the last 7 - 8 months during the coronavirus pandemic. I would recommend anyone to check this site before making a purchase as I found the prices very competitive and in most cases unbeatable.

This posting is as at 1700GMT on 25/12/20 in response to a request from 1001 Modelkits for a review. Current status is that my order, placed on 04/12/20, is yet to arrive. At the time of order it was claimed to be in stock but then delayed whilst stock was obtained. Email received on 18/12 stating it has been shipped but the Courier's status is still at ""We're expecting it"". Update at 29/12. Parcel arrived today in good condition. Recipient very happy with it. Changed title from ""Never getting further business with this kind of service"" and rating from 1star to 3 star. No higher because the initial ""In stock"" was not true and the length of delivery time prior to receipt by UK courier was excessive (although some of that may have been abnormal due to covid related port closures).

Far from happy, I ordered on 2/12/2020 and my order was showing as in stock on your website, you took my payment immediately, a week later I received an email saying you where waiting for a delivery from a supplier, so it wasn't in stock, I then received an email to say my order had been despatched on 16/12/2020 with a tracking number, the tracking shows that the courier has not received the parcel yet, so this will not arrive in time for the present it was intended for. Thank you for your reply. Does this mean that you will cancel the order and refund my payment? My parcel has been sent to me, but was then returned back to 1001 Modelkits because the paperwork wasn't correct. I have no idea what has happened to it now - I have emailed them twice but have had no reply. This is very poor service and is a big disappointment. It was my first order from them and I doubt if I will order again. The complete lack of communication, apart from automatic messages such as this request to rate them, is the biggest problem. I just want my order to be delivered!

The products were great and well packaged, however delivery took 5 weeks to arrive and it was difficult to get a response from. I spent about 3 weeks trying to get in touch with 1001 Modelkits as the delivery tracking info hadn't changed. I can see they've put an email address on their website now so hopefully this will improve. I understand Covid/Brexit/recent weather are causing delays, however I've received similar packages (size and value) from France in less than a week. I would encourage 1001 Modelkits to look at other couriers. I would order again, but expect a long wait for delivery.

The company itself is fine. The courier service however is abysmal. I realise that this is supposed to be a review of 1001, however if they choose to give business to a delivery company that is frankly unfit for purpose then they are themselves guilty by association. Good online service and prompt delivery. No complaints! The Website presentation could be improved by making the navigation better waymarked and clearer. The scene is rather crowded and working out the key 'buttons' that make one's searches work are not as easy to identify as they might be. The constant need to go back to reinstate filters between looking for items and loading up the sales basket might be worth looking at. Once the selection had been made, the service worked as it should very well. Thank you.

I had no idea that i was ordering from France. It took 3 weeks to arrive and I had several mis leading emails saying I had not completed my order when I had. Should have made it clear it was not a UK delivery, I would not have ordered such small items from so far away. Products were fine when they eventually arrived
