  I was looking for somewhere new to look for model kits and came across 1001 modelkits. They have amazing model kits and alot of them. once i opened my account i found a kit i wanted, and bought it. The process to buy was very easy and it didn't take too long for the kit to arrive, well inside the arrival date.I think the kit could have been packed slightly more safely as it was just put inside a cardboard box.

  Frankly inadequate. 9 days to ship a small photo-etched part which was in stock, then 15 days to arrive from Northern France to the UK. So 24 days in total. The management needs to review its procedures. There are plenty of model suppliers out there.

  The site can be a bit 'clunky' to navigate if you are not sure what you're looking for. Overall though, the site does have extensive ranges of models, paints, etc. The prices compare well to Amazon and eBay and delivery dates are really good and mostly the orders arrive before the quoted dates. It's just not that easy to use on a mobile phone!

  Bought a model Ferrari for my son. Transaction went through easily enough. However, the model came from France and the tracking information (translated from French) suggested it might take 30 days before delivery. Contacted 1001Modelkits to ask for clarification and did not receive any reply. Slightly disappointing. The model did turn up, however, a few days later. So alls well that ends well. Just please, reply to correspondence.

  Customer service at 1001 Modelkits is fantastic- after Royal Mail lost my order, I emailed and not only did they ship the replacement immediately, they offered me a discount for my next order.   I was disapppointed frankly. Covid problems and postage difficulties I understand. I ordered three products and heard nothing for two months, then I heard one was unavailable (I was surprised to see it advertised frankly). The other two would come and I would be credited with the balance, not refunded. OK I found something else, had to repay the postage, OK. Came quickly. But the third product is still advertised, despite repeated e mails from me. If I click on it, it goes into my basket (three times now). I even get reminders that it is there in my basket (even if not in store) and I have not paid. This is my only real issue here. Thanks for your early reply. Much appreciated. The item I requested is the Dragon 1/71 M4A3 105 VVSS. I was very surprised to see it advertised as it is almost impossible to find. It does need to come off your store list, as it is still inviting payment after entering the basket. Unless it is now back in stock of course! Good luck in these hard times

  I ordered two Trumpeter 1/32 A10's from 1001 Modelkits at a very good price. The ordering process was simple, and I was given updates throughout the packing process. The kits arrived by UPS within the month in excellent condition. I understand that alot of people are unhappy with their experience, but i will be using this company again. Thankyou 1001 :)

  I���ve used these guys a few times. You place your order and get about a million notifications then silence for a few weeks. Then all of a sudden Hermes or UPS tell you they have had an international package for you and it appears on a courier. Good prices on some items, every order has been completely fulfilled

  I've ordered a few things and was kindly given a ��5 voucher to use for my next purchase. When I tried to use the voucher it wa refused. NOT IMPRESSED! My last order was accepted and one model was delivered but the secon""out of stock"". I was not told this until after delivery. NOT IMPRESSED! I have asked for a refund of the out of stock ited.   I have never used 1001 Modelkits before, but found them online when looking for a specific type of kit. Ordering was easy, although I thought they were UK based, but the tracking detail said France. Despatch took a bit longer than anticipated and the order was delivered by UPS. Everything was as ordered and I would use them again if they have the items I want.

  Last time I gave them two stars and thought I was being generous. I can totally understand delays during the pandemic and, if they can finally, four months on, deliver something I thought impossible to find (which they did), I must say a thankyou. They get so many five stars, but too many one stars, suggesting a huge variation in perception. I would bet that an easy order, of readily available products, gets through in no time. Any problem though and the issue then becomes communication or the lack of. How often is that case anywhere? Even the standardised repeated replies, here on line, to the most favourable reviews, suggest a simple failure to communicate with customers. On this occasion though I got constant messages about delivery progress, for a product I had assumed impossible to find. Complete contrast to my previous experience. I will not judge them too harshly now, they have had problems with moving site I do know and there is some suggestion of a worldwide virus problem of some kind. Good luck folks.

  I found 1001 Modelkits have a huge stock and fast despatched I'm a UK shopper... shopping in France and the time it took to arrive is faster than some orders I place with UK sellers. Even COVID-19 coudn't slow them down. A good service all round.A happy shopper and I'll be back for more. John

  1001 models have an extensive range of quality models and give a prompt service but I have had to drop one star as they don't always prove to be the best on price.

  Model didnt arrive. No response from customer service. Now having to try and get refund from credit card company. Update.. 10pm Mon 5th Oct. Still no contact from customer service... Didn't receive any address verification email, just one saying it was in transit and then one saying it was delivered. UPS courier service admits they can't give me proof of delivery (despite address being a very well known naval base) and UPS advise me to take up with sender. This was meant to be a birthday gift for my son, but nothing arrived. Really disappointing.

  This is a quality kit but let down by flimsy and ill defined instructions. Diagrams are poor and the order of construction is not clear. Parts are of a high standard and the tyres (for both models-custom and stock) particularly good. So good kit but the instructions -on two sides of one sheet of paper-lack clarity.

  Worst excuse of a model I���ve ever seen None of the parts fit properly without major Cutting, scrapping etc. Normal Testors model would not work on what ever material was used on this mold. Canopy did not fit at all Nev

  original item ordered did not arrive as got sent wrong item and when tried to correct original given as unavailable so made request for substitute item that received ok, a bit disappointed that original item not available but substitute item ok so satisfactory outcome after bit of a wait
