Verified reviewI ordered a Boeing 747 kit on 23rd November 2021. Approaching the delivery date I looked at the Tracking record and found that it had not been sent although I had received an email from them saying it had been dispatched. They had also taken payment. I rang them and they said there had been an error and it had not been dispatched but would create a new order. this they did but the delivery date was too close to Christmas so I cancelled the order before they had a chance it dispatch it. I am still waiting for my refund. I have phoned them several times and they say they will deal with it but nothing happens. Now I try to ring them and there is a message saying they have too many calls and cut me off. This is quite the worst experience I have had dealing with a company on the internet. In my experince I find them totally incompetent and would not ever deal with them again once I get my money back.

Verified reviewI was sent the wrong item and therefore my son did not have his present for Christmas. The company still hasn't sent the replacement as they are waiting for the item to be returned which was nearly 2 weeks ago! The item sent in error was a fraction of the cost of my intended item. They have a considerable amount of my money and no product to show for it at present. Will not buy from again.

Is someone able to look into where the parcel I returned is? You sent me the customs paperwork so I guess you can track this? I would either like the original item I ordered to be sent or a refund. Please advise.

Verified reviewI will never use this supplier again. The website from which I ordered appears to be based in the UK, with a UK e-mail address and phone number. There was reference to the order being shipped from the EU thus perhaps causing delay. There was no mention of the fact that the company is actually based in France, and that there would be import tax and handling fees involved. I simply can't do business with a company which behaves like this. D

Verified reviewHad to pay £68.51 extra on delivery above cost of order. No reply from 1001 hobbies when questioned, no mention of additional cost on ordering. Delivery company UPS don’t accept cheques ( still legal tender ) not happy with whole thing

Verified reviewI ordered a model from them as a pre-order. Very atypically for 1001 Hobbies, it was actually offered at a competitive price. Two weeks later they contacted me to cancel the order, though the item is still not released. They'd obviously realised that for once they'd sold something at a fair price. I'll never order from them again..

Verified revieweasy to order, payment taken quickly and invoice sent waited for goods and nothing arrived i contacted and was told a delay on stock arriving but i would get my goods soon. almost 3 weeks later still no goods or correspondence, i contacted again was told out of stock and would not be getting more offered another item or refund so i ask for refund which as been confirmed but told it will take up to 14 days for me to get my money back. when i paid my money was taken within 24 hours but they cant refund me quickly??? also although they say no stock of my item it is still being offered for sale and site says in stock ready to ship within 3-7 days. as a first time customer to this site i would neither recomend to others or return myself. i am still waiting for refund of my payment

Verified reviewWhen i dealt with the UK set up they were as rude and difficult, not even knowing the law regarding the distance sale regulations, but also the wording regarding returns on their own website? They said they could deliver before Christmas and then not until after, so i cancelled. Luckily there French company were more helpful after a little persuasion
