  I know that ‘average’ these days can be seen as poor but it is NOT poor …. It is the norm, what I would expect from an online art supplier. They did everything properly, it arrived well packaged and in a timely manner. The goods worked. That is just what I expect.

  I bought a studio easel in their sale and had to contact Cowling & Wilcox Customer Service because after assembling it seemed the easel was defective. I was both impressed and very appreciative of the help received, the issue was quickly resolved and I’m now delighted with my easel. Their Customer Service is excellent and I can’t praise them enough.

  My item was delivered in good time but was missing a felt disc foot. I contacted the company and quickly got a reply to say they had found one in their warehouse which was promptly posted to me.

  Delivery was prompt, actually, it was delivered without prior notice. Fortunately, I happened to be home. The packaging was poorly presented. All the packages of individual tubes of oil were opened and trashed on arrival. There was no seal under the cap (which could be opened without resistance) on each of the tube of paint. One wondered if they had been used.

However hard we try to protect our parcels, there's still the odd driver who seems to treat your goods in an unacceptable way.   Would have given 5* but let down by way box of graphite pencils were packed . They were packed loosely within the desk easel box . I could hear them sliding about before I opened the parcel . The outside wrap was good and intact. There was an unsealed and looked unused padded envelope in there as well . The only way I could get them out was to pull out the easel first . They flew off the table onto the floor . Just hoping the pencil cores have not broken in transit .
