  I have visited the shop in Canterbury and wish it was nearer me but the website has a great range of stock which keeps me happy. There are sales on items or brands quite regularly so it is worth checking in on them. Communication, packaging and delivery have always been excellent. It is my go to art shop online.

  Last item ordered was 4 sketchbooks, 2 small square ones and 2 A4 books. which although I was pleased with, they were advertised as having free postage, but this was not the case, as I put in the code given for me to get free postage, but it did not happen. This meant the sketchbooks worked out more expensive.

  The artists' canvas boards were very good. One size was out of stock however the customer service sorted an alternative promptly. I would have given 5 stars but did not. The reason for this was that even as the website advertises that there is free postage it turned out not to be true for this order as I was charged £10 for postage. I live in Moray not on the moon.

  I ordered a table top easel. The order seemed to take longer than expected to arrive, so I contacted customer service. They realised there had been a error on the computer and were very apologetic and quickly got the item sent. The item then arrived quickly and was in excellent condition. All other times that I have ordered from cowling orders have been dispatched promptly. Great company
