  I placed my order in late November to avoid the postal strikes. I received part of my order quick swiftly but not the second part which still has not arrived on Dec 12 th. I phone up customer services to check that the second part had been sent and was told, quite firmly in would have been put in the same box as the easel . This was not the case. Eventually i was told the brushes would come separately. I am disappointed that the order has been so divided and one parcel taken over 2 weeks longer than the other and still not arrived. Customer services were average but they have not reassured me that the parcel will reach me before Christmas

  Thank you for feeding back to us. I can totally understand your frustration. We nearly always send out these type of orders in one parcel so I investigated why 2 parcels were used. It turns out your packer personally involved their Manager to check on this one. The easel was packed by the Manufacturer in a rather flimsy box so they felt it would protect the easel but not the more fragile brushes so they took the unusual step of using 2 parcels. Unfortunately, in this case, it backfired as Royal Mail seem to have misplaced your parcel. I'll ask our customer service team to get back in touch with you to solve your issue for you.   Products and prices are excellent which is my priority. The website could do with updating as it can be very lengthy to put in a lot of individual pens as you have to put them in the bag each time as opposed to being able to select all you want then add the whole lot to the basket. Postage took longer due to the strikes but I was kept informed and warned if the situation.

  Thank you for your positive review. We updated our website recently to adjust how we sold ranges of products like pens. We felt that the Add to Cart concept got lost and customers often got frustrated with products not being added to the cart so we plumped for our new system where you add as you go. We feel this is an improvement as it updates pretty quickly and highlights which products you've added as you go both on the page and in the basket. For large ranges of pens, I totally take on board your point though as this could take a little longer. We'll have a think about this to see if we can improve the process further. We're using couriers when the strikes are on but, unfortunately, it's very hard to judge when Royal Mail hit their worst delays and, to be honest, couriers are struggling as well at the momnet due to their extra workload.   I ordered crepe paper from Cowling and Wilcox on the Monday and it arrived on the Thursday via Royal Mail. The paper was properly wrapped in cardboard so arrived intact. Great service. The person I bought the crepe paper for is very happy with it, the colours are as expected.

  They have a strong sense of responsible delivery. They handle parcels well and are always polite and a smile when they deliver. Up on my isolated Fell where three houses are each half a mile apart and very little traffic. 3 or 4 cars drive past in a day. At most! So isolated and beautiful. Your staff are always smiling.   Wonderful - I always get nervous ordering large size canvas online as I’ve had dented and bent orders so many times! Not with this one!! Thank you so so much for taking care with the packaging and delivery of your items. I’m in a wheelchair and cannot get into stores to hand check so it felt like I had chose this canvas myself - perfect finish for my commission.
