They sent and charged me for two orders instead of one. I received no email receipt for either only a dispatch email - when it first came to my attention that they had duplicated the order and charged me twice. When I emailed telling them of their error they said I could return the canvases ( they are 120x90) and they did not offer to send a courier or pay. They then went on to tell me canvases are in short supply and I should really keep them! How dare they!

Ordered the items. Items were not packed or shipped for 10 days. Called up ... no explanation as to why but did get told that once the items are despatched they could likely arrive within 24/48 hours. 7 days after this I have still not received any items or explanation as to why it is taking so long or when the items may eventually turn up. Tracking from the shipping agent does not work for the items and just reports them as delayed. 18 days wait for a small package from Kent. Can’t rate the product because I haven’t received it.

Took almost two weeks to process, via there main warehouse, received no contact by email of confirmation of order, tryed three times to contact the company via there main number, held in queue and each time reached no1 was ringing for at least 15/20 minutes and no one picked up so just gave up, eventually the package arrived, very disappointing as used this company for years, and now found other suppliers on line.

Very Bad Experience & Terrible Customer Service From Cowling !!! It was my 1st order & items were gift for my daughter's special day, I paid for items plus delivery charges of nearly £4 online on 3rd Feb, after waiting for 8 days for my order when i phoned them on 11th Feb I was told that it will be dispatch today & the guy on phone was very rude & didn't help or explain much. It further took 2 days for them to dispatch it when I got email that it's been posted & I received my order on 14th Feb, it took them 11 days to deliver my order !!! My daughter missed the special gift on her special day because Cowling didn't dispatch the item within given time scale & on top of that the guy on the phone ( Frank ) wasn't very helpful & started arguing with me. I will never buy again from them at all. They claim that their carrier are under pressure but that's not the case here, Royal mail delivered the item next day of dispatch date. It's all Cowling's fault & they blame the carrier.

I ordered some watercolour paper which was damaged in delivery, i contacted customer services who promptly sent out a replacement. The product arrived swiftly and in perfect condition. Really excellent service. I can thoroughly recommend this company. They obviously value thier customers. Fantastic customer services.

My order turnaround was quick but on delivery one of the fluid acrylics had a broken top and it had spilt losing most of the paint. I contacted them using the website proforma which was very easy but it took 6 days for a reply (admittedly one of those days was a Sunday). I did email them again as I had not heard anything but today I had a lovely email offering to replace said item but I have asked for a refund instead as sourced elsewhere. I will use this company again though as their prices and quality are good and I am sure this hiccup was a one off.
