  Very satisfied. I think I had two attemts at negotiating my order on the web site. I was advised that the order would be processed in a couple of days and to bear with them as deliveries could be a little slow. However my order arrived quite promptly. The order was well packed and the paper quality as expected.

  I found I had some small issues like for some reason I couldn’t log out on my iPad and this is a particular problem for me I always log out you need to solve that issue, I got around it but not my idea of fun. Now the process was fine otherwise a little slow to be delivered at least I gave it plenty of time. The items are a present but look good hopefully will be good. Fairly happy overall thanks.

  Thanks to Cowling and Wilcox art suppliers I have kept sane making lots of paintings during the Covid lockdown. They have an excellent range of art supplies and always get the deliveries to me despite the obvious difficulties at the moment.Thanks to all the team.

  Things went wrong... I didn;t receive a confirmation email when I ordered. I had to write to ask for one and finally got an acknowledgement after a week. The delivery only happened 10 days after my order. Then the courier only told me on the very day they were coming and I had already left home. They left my art materials on my doorstep. I arrived less than an hour after delivery and someone had stolen them. I had to report this to the police. C&W replaced the items with no quibble and quite speedily this time, that's why I gave a 4 star rating...but what a headache and stress! I wish click & collect was available it would have been so much easier...

  The products I bought were all good. However, I do not find it easy to find things on the website. For instance I was looking for palette knives and none appeared. I could not believe that they do not stock them so I phoned them up and apparently when things were out of stock they move on the website. Why the website cannot just say 'out of stock' I do not know'. There stock levels of the items that I buy are not good, for instance I use water mixable oils and there were no Daler Rowney individual tubes showing as being available. Also as you have to pay for postage I would expect it not only to be quicker but also easy to track.

  Usually just order paints but decided to order some paper and canvas, the pad was bent at one corner and the canvas was also a bit dented around the frame (not sure if that's just how this type of canvas is, since the edge of the frame is raised, but doesn't look great. Ive painted on it and it doesn't seem to notice now it has paint on it. I should think the bend in the pad will also come out once I've put paint on it.
