Verified reviewThe ordering process was simple. However I found that the customer service side was slow and due to my parcel being delivered from France to England I had to pay custom fees. As a first timer I was a little anxious as this wasn’t mentioned when ordering with Smallable. The handlers Chronopost were also slow at responding as on the parcel tracking link it stated my items were being held at customs. Which again for a first timer was quite stressful as I had no idea what the steps were and finding a reliable way to contact both Smallable and Chronopost wasn’t easy. I had to wait 2/3 days for Smallable to respond to my email request through the website and 1/2 for Chronopost to reply on a message through Twitter. I would recommend a live chat option for both of these company’s. I did however get a full refund for the £110 custom fees by doing a bit of research on Smallable’s website which again could be made easier to find or the buyer could be made aware of possible charges and how to get a refund for any fees at the checkout point. My items arrived in perfect condition though which was great and I was kept updated through the delivery links.
