    The lady I was having dialogue with via email wasn't very helpful, I considered cancelling my order due to the tone of the emails. I decided to call them instead of emailing, when I rang them it took me a few days of constantly trying to get through before I eventually did. I got through to an English speaking lady who was extremely helpful and provided good customer service, she couldn't answer the technical questions I had, however, she arranged for her colleague from the technical department to call me and he answered my questions perfectly. My skis arrived on time with a couple of days to spare before I went on holiday.

    Really expert advice. They picked the perfect skis for us and also advised we get bindings from a rental shop due to the standard ones only having growth for a couple of mondo sizes (meaning we’d have had to get them re drilled when our son’s feet grow). No other ski supplier picked up on this.

    Professional and fast! The only think I can think of that would be negative would be the way my skis were packaged. The box was damaged and therefore a small scratch on the top of my new skis was visible. People queuing up in line for the lift will likely scratch the skis anyway so I didn’t care about that! Package the skis better next time. This shop is better than most out there.

    Terrible; the courier left my trainers on an unknown door step on Christmas Eve and they were never found. It took me two months to finally get my money back - up to then I was asking for a replacement or money back and chasing them for a response a couple of times a week. I was able to show that the item had been left on an unknown door step with the couriers photograph plus it specifically stated that they had to be signed for. It wasn't until six weeks into chasing this with Glisshop that they sent me a form to fill in from the courier (Everi) for them to look into it. It took Everi two days to come back to me to say that it had been delivered to the wrong address and a further two weeks for Glisshop to reimburse me. Customer service/care is the worst I have come across and would never use them again. The loss of the trainers was no fault of theirs and it could have been resolved very quickly and professionally; I would then happily purchase further items from them, instead they have lost a customer.

Please know that we have since changed our UK delivery partners and now use Parcelforce and Royal Mail to ensure a more reliable and efficient service. In cases involving disputed deliveries, we are required to follow a formal process, which includes an investigation conducted by the carrier. You reported the missing parcel on 24 January, and we received confirmation from EVRi just over two weeks later. A full refund was issued to you on 14 February.     Glisshop part 5 star. Evri delivery 1 star. Despite my very well priced order being dispatched soon after I ordered, Evri sat with the parcel for 4 weeks, failing to respond or deliver. Only though Glisshops help and constant chasing did I manage to receive my order 1 day before I went away! Unfortunately, now I know they use Evri, I won't be ordering again. Too many lost or missing parcels and non existent customer service, Evri have ruined another brand..I don't know why companies insist on using this courier, a slight reduction in price surely doesn't compensate for all.the lost customers.

    Hello, Thank you for your feedback. You placed an order with us on 20 December but did not indicate the length of your ski boots in the mounting form. We contacted you by email the same day and you responded on 26 December with the measurements, only to the ask us to block the order as you were not sure you wanted to go ahead. You finally confirmed that you wanted the order on 3 January and your skis were dispatched with the next shipment to the UK, which was on 7 January. The fact that the skis arrived too late for your trip was therefore largely due to your delay in responding. The skis were delivered on 14 January by EVRi. We agree that they were left in an unsafe place for which we apologise and were happy that you found your parcel.     I am writing this partial review one month after placing my order. Glisshop seem to be a good company with good products and good prices. Unfortunately the courier that they are using for the UK "Evri" are NOT good. I ordered Ski boots and poles for my son because the boots that his brothers had been using for many years got broken when we went skiing on a snowy day in England. I expected the delivery to take 1 week as that is what the website said. After about a week an order was scheduled for delivery and we got a message to say it had been delivered and a photo of a box sitting in what looked like the back of a van. We had not had any delivery. There was also a message saying that they had got our package and were sending it back to the vendor. When I enquired with the courier (via a voicemail service) I eventually got a "we are investigating this" message. I then called Glisshop and got through to a very helpful person who was able to tell me that one package had actually been sent back but one was due to be delivered. Unfortunately there was nothing Glisshop could do to prevent the courier from sending the package back. I was offered the chance to have a replacement sent out from Glisshop for the item that was being sent back, but unfortunately they did not have one in the correct size (until the one I had ordered got back to them). I kept leaving messages with the courier (this time about both parts of the order) and eventually (perhaps 2 weeks after ordering) I got the poles delivered. I am still waiting for the boots (1 month after ordering) and since the boots are the part that we really needed we are not able to use the poles without the boots. I am expecting a call from Glisshop (scheduled for 1 month after I called them) to discuss getting the other part of their order to me. Then I will know where I am at with my order. I do hope that Glisshop are able to get better service from their courier in future. Or perhaps they will find another courier who will do a proper job. If I were placing an order in future I would phone Glisshop first to see if they now had a decent courier.

EVRi received it on 20 January. The larger 13-meter radius applies to the 175 cm version. Since we use a single product image for all sizes, the photo may have displayed a ski with a 13-meter radius.     Hello and thank you for your feedback. We are extremely sorry for the poor delivery experience. You placed your order on Friday 3 January and it was dispatched with the next shipment to the UK on 7 January. EVRi received it on 9 January. Unfortunately the parcel seems to have been unaccounted for for several weeks and was finally delivered to a parcel shop on 14 February from where you collected it. As we were not informed about the delay, we were unfortunately unable to help you in this matter.
