  The order was placed on 9/26 and I still haven't received the purchased items. Based on the tracking number provided by the company, the parcels have been stuck in Germany since 10/11. When I contacted the company, the reply was always the same: The order would be shipped to Germany and then waiting to be shipped to customer's address... It never explained why the order got stuck in Germany for so long... I now wonder if I will ever receive my order?

  Avoid buying from Idealwine if you wish to receive what you pay for. Despite much discussion with customer service about a very expensive order, the wrong wine was sent / delivered to me along with all of the personal contact details of the person whose wine I was mistakenly sent (meaning someone else now has all my details along with the goods which I have paid a lot of money for). This has already led to a great deal of anxiety regarding the thousands of pounds worth of wine which is missing (not to mention the import duty I had to pay to receive the wrong order!), with no guarantee as to the conditions in which it is being stored, and the fact that my personal details have been shared with strangers. Idealwine will not discuss it on the phone and will only demand that I write in. I contacted the other gentleman whose wine I have (seeing as I was given all of his details by Idealwine) and he informed me they have lost three of his shipments. My situation aside (and it seems from other reviews this is a very regular occurrence), this is the core of Idealwine’s business and yet they seem completely uninterested in getting it right. If they cannot be bothered to get it right with an order worth thousands, what hope is there for any smaller orders? In short, Idealwine will cause you a great deal of frustration, anxiety, expense and wasted time and for that reason they are absolutely best avoided.

  After many many months without success I am finally able to use Verified Reviews again. With so many other online businesses to use, it is a testimony to iDealwine that I have not found another service in, selection packaging, or customer service to rival them.   The whole order has been totally disaster. My order number was C1620559. First I got message from UPS that delivery is not possible at 7th September. I had to call and find out my self the reason for this. Outcome that they did not have correct address (which I had informed totally correct at order). Then they promised to deliver again in few days... I waited and deliver came two days after on 9th September. BUT not the whole delivery. Instead part of the delivery was missed but with no explanations why and what happens next... I have heard nothing but until 13th September when I got separate e-mail from Idealwine that delivery for rest is not possible.. Again due wrong address.. (Again I informed correct address at the order and again to UPS during first delivery)... I am again in a situation that I have to start solving myself why there is problems. No proactivy from Idealwine or UPS...

  First time using this site recently but I regularly buy at various UK auction sites. Wine selection is excellent and website is very user friendly. I'm not totally convinced about some of the starting bids on wines and I didn't feel that I was getting any standout bargains on here, but that being said, the range of vintages was excellent and I did buy quite a lot of wines that I would struggle to find elsewhere. Overall very happy. Delivery was very slow at 17 days from purchase to Ireland (despite opting for express) but probably not the fault of Idealwine.

  As a source for fine wines it's clearly 5 stars but I was not satisfied with the delivery via the German parcel service DPD. The parcel was partly damaged and the details about time of delivery was unclear and unprofessional. The parcel has been left on stairs somewhere outside the house.

  The website is really user friendly. I found the vintages I was looking for and the bottles arrived on time in excellent, secure packaging. I had to phone customer services to cancel one of the two orders I'd created ( wanted to compare prices of two or four bottles) as I was unable to cancel the unwanted order myself. A little cumbersome so room for improvement there! However, the lady I talked to was extremely pleasant and helpful. Overall, a great experience and I will be ordering again.

  Site not ideal to navigate, but I found what I wanted and the ordering process went very smoothly. FedEx delivery less admirable, because they don't give you a time slot during the day and we caught them just at the point when they were about to dump the very valuable delivery in full view on our doorstep. UK customers should be aware that additional import costs are payable prior to delivery. Brexit, eh?

  Good afternoon Sir, We understand your discontentment, but you have to take into consideration that you put this bottle in your basket on the 16th of February, without paying for it and that you decide to pay for it now, the month the June, nearly 4 months later. As a company we acquire the bottles from the estates and have already paid for them. We cannot have wine sitting around for months and not selling it. We also have costs on our side.   The prices at iDealwine are indeed competitive. Some of the offers they make on wines are far below anything that anyone can match. Even when you add the premiums and delivery charges (within EU) it's still cheap. However, there is a trade-off because dealing with iDealwine is a nightmare. Payments get lost - keep your records of all your EFTs for God's sake - emails then aren't answered about receipt, follow through and delivery. It's very stressful. The world of buying wine (especially online) is replete with stories of people paying for wine they never got so this kind of messing about is really stressful. I would stress that I did get the wine I paid for, eventually, and iDealwine did waive storage charges to compensate for the inconvenience but, all in all, it just wasn't worth the hassle. So, it's really up to you in the end. If the price of the goods is worth it, maybe you can live with the grief. Maybe....

  I live in the UK and am still waiting to hear back from iDealwine about the extra charges from UPS for my last 3 orders. Those charges amount to up to 25% of the orders amounts and they were never disclosed by iDealwine before taking parts in the 3 auctions. I contacted iDealwine 3 weeks ago and still waiting for a resolution.

  Consistently my orders fail to show up and it takes a lot of chasing to get the deliveries right. This gives me a lot of exposure to their customer service, and it's not a pleasant or satisfying experience with representatives being unhelpful and slow to respond. This was my last order from their website.

  Overall the service works great and the function to combine baskets/orders is great! However, I'm disappointed that two orders that finished at the same time haven't arrived to me even roughly at the same time. Inconvenient to pick up orders from a distant location multiple times.

  Buona sera, non c è stata nessuna modifica di consegna, le 5 bottiglie acquistare sono state 11 giorni in giro senza motivo. Il corriere scelto da voi ha avuto un grosso ritardo ed era visibile tramite la mail che voi mi avete mandato La scarola e il polistirolo all interno erano in pessime condizioni e secondo me per una casa d asta come la vostra che vende vini di un certo tipo 11 giorni di spedizione potrebbero rovinare le bottiglie. Mi spiace ma io resto non soddisfatto.
