  The bid part was perfect. I won the licit with a price that was about 5% below the normal market price. After this I received a mail with an amount to pay that was about 25% higher then my winner bid. So, finally I have paid about 15% higher price than the normal market price. Now I believe that IDealwine has a tricky business model: they buy the wine on a whole sales price, let us bid, we are very happy to win the licit with a price slightly below the market price and than they charge an additional about 25% as "auction house fee". This way they make extra profit compared to an average web shop. Congratulation for the idea. But, if I was right I would not do this business this way because I feel this a kind of cheating.

When you place a bid, you can check the additionnal fees (the buyer's preimum) which you'll need to pay if you win the auction. on top of that, you'll also need to consider the taxes and duties if you're getting delivered in the UK, and the delivery fees.   Yes, you are right. I should have read all the conditions before placing my bid. I missed it. And I have paid the price you requested for my wines finally. My argument was not about reading or not reading carefully the terms and conditions. I wrote about my customer experience. I felt that this business and / or its home page is a set-up. It makes an extra profit comparing to a normal web-shop that does not have the "bidding mumbo jumbo". Let's put it another way. If I was the first person who was surprised and disappointed with the final price than I must apologize here and now for not reading your terms and conditions carefully. And I do so. If you had several customers of such in a month you should do the same and consider changing your web site i.e. highlighting the final price (instead of the bidding price) to be seen DURING the bidding process. :-)

  6 bottles of Givry 1er Cru 2009 bought for £158.39. All 6 bottles to the bin as it was vinegar and all had faulty corks. One bottle with an issue happens, two is unlucky. Six out of six is called a scam.

  I received a message that my package arrived to the destination and has not found anyone at 15:17, which is impossible since the address is from an office where, at that time, there are multiple people present. The same happened last time i ordered from you and I had to go to the post office myslef and get the package, which is inconvenient for me. I strongly advice you to change your transport firm as they are obviously lying and not delivering the service to the standards expected. Again, there is no possible way there wasn't anyone at the address I have used for my delivery!
