Verified reviewDelivery was at the approximate lead time at time of purchase, given regular updates as the delivery got closer, and the guys who did the delivery did a good job, placing as directed. Room still being finished so I only unpacked and assembled the lightest item to check I was happy with the general finish etc and very pleased with the quality

Verified reviewI like the style but it doesn’t feel finished -especially for the price- as the wood is untreated and not fit for its intended use in the bathroom as is. We expected for the piece to be ready to use but instead need to treat it first to ensure that the wood is not damaged by the humidity of the bathroom.

Verified reviewAttracted to the sustainable credentials and style, however the order is shipped from Europe which was frustrating when I realised, from an environmental perspective. Item arrived after 10 days and was damaged and a hinge wasn’t screwed in. The damage had white residue, like someone had tried to glue it back together. Customer service offered less than 20% off as compensation or a replacement. We didn’t want more environmental impact, however felt the discount was poor for a visibly damaged item and, what we felt was, deception in the item being glued back together. A replacement took another 10 days and we had to arrange to accept delivery and pay our builder an extra call out to fit. New item was also damaged and we were offered a small amount off which we accepted for ease. The item is stylish but requires treating yourself (eg varnish), is expensive, not as sustainable as I felt was promoted, and there are lengthy delivery times. I wouldn’t order again from Tikamoon.

Thank you for your review. We are very sorry that your first item was damaged and that the replacement also had some issues. In an effort to minimize unnecessary transport we are always looking to improve our packaging and quality control and will use your review and the pictures you supplied us for improvement. Most of our teak products do need varnishing or oiling before use, we offer them unprotected so you have the choice of finish and our oak furniture is instead already oiled.

Verified reviewAbsolutely digusted and horrified at the way Tikamoon dealt with my issues. Large garden table arrived and when I unpacked it and started to assemble it found the top of the table was boken and split. Several days & calls later they offered me £130 back to keep the damaged table (which was unusable) giving a broken table a value of £300 ! Why on earth I would anyone take up that offer it was derisory and insulting, especially as I was left over the bank holiday weekend with 8 friends for lunch with no where to sit. Then they insisted that the original packing had to be in place despite the fact that it had been removed and was rain sodden and impossible. More calls and they finally agreed to collect the table (2 more days lost taking time off from work) No gesture, no proper apology not even a voucher or anything but a nice guy on the phone at the end who did agree that I would not have to wait 4 weeks for my money back and it would be returned within a few days. I won't deal with this company again Customer service was terrible.
