  Delivery guys didn’t sound too thrilled when asked to remove the packaging and take it with them even though I paid extra for the service. Screws to assemble table not included in box. These had to be shipped separately by the company.

  All 'round 5 star experience. I don't usually buy furniture online before seeing it 'in the flesh', but I did this time and it is a perfect piece for my bathroom. The wood, craftsmanship, and design are all high quality. The product was delivered well ahead of the expected date too.

  Very pleased with the purchase. The quality of the cabinet is excellent and very easy to assemble. The only slight niggle is about the marble sink. It does not have an overflow which means we cannot put the plug down. It would have been helpful to know about this before purchasing the product. However, the quality of both products is excellent.

  Nice products but once they have your money to include the delivery fee, do not deliver to schedule and when they do deliver the products hanging out through the doors and upside down. I bought 2 side boards and a bookcase so the order was £2.3k. My parents went to accept the delivery as they failed to deliver on the first agreed date and as a consequence I had distraught parents (85 & 82) as they were left in helpless situation and this was despite trying to chase the drivers down the drive. I was offered a £30 voucher from tikamoon for the first failed delivery and a lost days leave but a voucher is no use if you have no intention of shopping with a company again,

  I was advised that the table that was delivered had a 'natural flaming' in the surface of the table top which was not a fault. However, I was offered a full refund but, when I asked for a replacement without these unpleasant markings, I was informed that they receive the tables already packaged and could not guarantee that a replacement would not be the same. And so I am very unhappy with this response.

  My Qing pine storage cabinet arrived damaged. The whole exercise, of purchasing this item, was a waste of time. The damage to the cabinet did not coincide with any damage to the box, suggesting that it was packed up in a damaged condition. It does beg the question of the standard of inspection, if in fact any was carried out at all. I was then inconvenienced by having to photograph the item, e mail the evidence of the damage to customer services, re-package a huge and heavy piece of furniture - my husband and I are in our mid-sixties, and wait in again for the delivery pick up. I then had to contact Tikamoon to request a refund, the absence of this written request would have resulted in about a month's wait for a refund. I have ordered three items from Tikamoon, the first was perfect, the second had a mis-aligned drawer, but I was told that a replacement may not be any better, so I kept it with a small refund, and the third was this Qing cabinet which was sent back. Stylish though this furniture is, I am sorry to say that I will no longer be visiting the website and would definitely not recommend. On reading Trustpilot, I am not alone with complaints of receiving damaged goods- it seems fairly common. One has to question the environmental credentials of a company who import quite a bit of their furniture from Indonesia, sail it across the oceans and deliver it, either poorly put together, or damaged, to customers in Europe. Maybe I have been unlucky but I'm not so sure. Promises of recycling the cabinet or selling it on in a damaged condition (as discussed with customer services), do not really negate the negative impact on the environment of this abortive purchase.

Once these pictures were received we offered you a range of options to resolve this issue, and you chose to return the item for a full refund. We are sorry you are unhappy with our processes to open a claim for the damaged item and the returns process. This has been forwarded to our management team for continued improvements. Please note we strive to have as many FSC products as possible on our store, even though the wood is sourced overseas and made in our workshops in the countries where the wood is farmed.   Easy and pleasant experience. I had to cancel an order and replace it with a different item - nothing was too much trouble and the customer service was flawless.   The basin (Pia) I ordered is really lovely but it isn’t really the colour I expected. It was described as light grey but it is more several shades of brown/beige. However, it is still very unique and so I think I will keep it but I think the description should be changed as it is misleading.

  Because of moving house, holidays and illness, unfortunately I had to change the delivery date multiple times. This was very easy to do both by phone and online and made a difficult period so much easier - 5 stars for that. I did however have a small problem, in that it was only through an email from the delivery company that I realised at the last minute there was no arrangement to unpack the product or remove the packaging. This meant some slightly annoying to-ing and fro-ing between the delivery company and Tikamoon - all resolved in the end, but maybe it could have been clearer on the website. The piece of furniture itself is handsome and substantial, made from beautifully figured teak and generally well made, though there were a couple of small flaws - one drawer slightly misaligned with its neighbour and there is a flaw in the wood on the front panel of one of the drawers (whether this occurred in manufacture or transit is unclear). These are disappointing in view of the price, as is the fact that it needed oiling (though this was clearly stated). I would actually have liked the option of the furniture being delivered oiled rather than raw wood, and would have been willing to pay extra for that. So, overall, a good experience, but a few details could be improved.

We run many tests on our packaging, but its a fine line between being over cautious, and having to ship more items to customers if they arrive damaged which of course is a lot more transportation.   Needed a small storage cabinet, bought one from another site but was very disappointed with it so gave it to a Charity shop. As I did a further search I discovered your site and was so pleased to find the exact cabinet I wanted. It's perfect! Just waiting for my daughter to put the legs and handles on. Customer Service was efficient and helpful when I emailed them about delivery date. Unfortunately the first delivery company GLS did not give me the hour alert about the delivery and the goods was returned. Customer Service was alerted and the goods was delivered soon after by Parcelforce. I do love your furniture and will shop again. Thank you.

  I have lost all confidence in this company to send furniture pieces that are not faulty. I ordered a high POLA side table and it had a massive deep scratch that looked like it had been chipped and reattached. I returned it and ordered a new one. The second one had something wrong with the leg so was wonky and wobbled. I ended up giving up on that lovely high side table. So instead I decided to match the bedside table I already had from Tikamoon which I love and to get a second one so I’d have a matching pair of bedside tables in my bedroom. It somehow got lost in customs after waiting almost two months. They were kind enough to solve that and re-send me one. It arrived with the handle off centre and the wood was also a bit darker than the one I had. They explained how the wood can vary and that made sense to me so I accepted the colour variation. But they said the handle not being centred people is a normal part of the manufacturing process, and I could have a £20 refund but if I wanted to replace it I could not and I would have to return both tables (I’ve had the first table for months). They did not apologise or even agree there was an issue with the handle being off centre (gap on one side and no gap on the other side), as though customers should accept small faults on a £280 piece. For a £280 table I would expect the manufacturer to screw the handle in with care and precision. It seems that is too much to ask for. At no point do they ever apologise for the faulty products. I must say they are really kind and helpful on the return process. But I am left quite gobsmacked that no one has turned around and said, yes you’ve now been sent three products all having something wrong with them and we are sorry we will resolve it. So I’ve now sent one scratcher, and one wobbly table back. And having given up on that high table, I then bought instead a more expensive brdside table that they believe is fine with a handle not centred properly. I’m just so disappointed. I have no faith in being sent a non- faulty item anymore. So I have one bedside table that I can’t match and I’ve given up on decorating my living room with their lovely POLA line which was my plan.
