  I found the site difficult to navigate especially as it’s not clear how to use the uk site when ordering. My purchases still haven’t arrived after almost 3 weeks, I appreciate we are living through difficult times with COVID 19 but other sites such as wool stack deramores and knitting network have all delivered to me within days of ordering so I tend to use them as a fast delivery is important to me. The 3 stars are for the good way the site shows exactly how much wool is needed for a single garment and this part of site is excellent. Also how to get in touch ie to chase up orders that have not came is very difficult which is a shame as I spend a lot of money on craft material ie yarn and you’re patterns are really beautiful but delivery is putting me off.

  Due to Covid, the delivery was elated a little, but was despatched OK. Hermes decided they couldn’t deliver the parcel despite the post code, and when I contacted Bergère de France they were quick to sort it out.

  I found the site easy to navigate and to find things I didn't know I wanted but then couldn't do without ! Looking at embroidery wasn't easy though as the pictures were tiny. I loved the history of the company and all the interesting pictures of the factory. It looks a happy place to work. I'm not a knitter but am very tempted by some of the kits you offer.

  This is the worst company that I have ever ordered from in the entirety of my life. After waiting an incredibly long time for my package, which I tracked to a local warehouse, it remained there for several days. I contacted the support team to see why my package wasn't on its way to me I was told that it was being sent back as it was damaged. I received no information about this until I chased it up. After many more weeks of waiting I decided to ask for my money back, but was then told that they didn't know when this may happen. The customer service is abysmal at best.

  Nice website which is easy to navigate and to find what I am looking for . There are lots of gorgeous knitting patterns for babies and lovely yarns to knit them up in. I've been very pleased with Calinou in particular; my favourite,a lovely 4 ply wool mix yarn .

  I have waited over a month for my order and it was a birthday present for my daughter which she did not get as it took longer than the two weeks I had allowed. The website said 5-7 days. I know it is strange times with deliveries and orders being delayed but the reason I have rated it as one star was for the lack of communication. After a few weeks I was sending regular emails Enquiring about my order but the person I was corresponding with was not able to get a response from the office, warehouse, etc. Ridiculous to have a customer care representative who is not able to contact the company to get answers!

  I love the products and the site is very easy navigated. The products I’m looking for aren’t always available, but that’s cause I’m still using patterns that are a few seasons out of date! Shame though, cause I still love some of the old patterns! Delivery was a bit slower than normal, but that’s perfectly understandable under the world conditions at this time. I was I impressed I got it at all! Overall I love the products and the site. Keep up the good work!

  I ordered the pattern book but didn’t want to wait for a particular pattern so I bought the download of that pattern. . Easy to follow. My pattern was ready to download within half an hour. I can now star knitting this cardigan till the book arrives with the other patterns. I have used Berger de France patterns for a number of years now the first time was definitely a learning curve but now I love them. The patterns are so modern and trendy and more importantly original. Excellent products and excellent service to match.

  There is never a shipment number that can be tracked. It is never clear that the order has left or when it can be expected. Some orders are never in their system even though payment has been taken. Have to chase them up and get zero response. The wool is excellent, but the customer service is terrible.

  I have always found the staff and service at Bergere de France exceptionally friendly and efficient. They always communicate with me about my orders and recently when I had an issue with ordering some products did their utmost to resolve the problem quickly.   Never received package albeit courier must have signed my name. When I tried to sort it out it was a nightmare. I had to resort to contact my credit card company who have taken the case up. Bergere de France was not at all helpful. I did go on to reorder the products and they have been delivered and signed for by my husband.

  I had a real headache buying a downloadable knitting pattern. The system kept going round in circles and didn’t take me to where I wanted to go. The links are just not working. When I eventually managed to pay for my pattern it said “pending” for a very long time so I went to bed. The following morning when I logged back in, I had problems downloading the pattern. Which was sent to me in GERMAN!!! I have not tried to go back in yet to find out why it isn’t in English...... I will wait till I have an hour or so as I am sure it won’t be straightforward. Not impressed.

  I submitted an unfavourable review to the Bergere de France website and I note that it has not been published. Money refunded for unused balls but not refunded for poor quality balls which were used in a project that had to be abandoned due to significant differences in share and texture between balls of same batch code.

  VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I only received part of my order due to very poor packaging & when I contacted Bergere they did reply but didn’t cover my problem. I replied to that email & Bergere didn’t respond. Very poor customer service, I definitely wouldn’t recommend them & have told my friends not to order from them. They didn’t refund any money for the missing items.

  One delivery was lost so you replaced it for me. Thank you. It is confusing when you want to download pdf. I have just placed another order for child’s cardigan and now can’t see how to download the pdf file. So could you help on that please. Otherwise a good site.

  The people at B de F were great, However, their courier company was beyond dreadful, They seemed to hold onto my order for weeks before processing and sending it on to the UK courier.

  The product is excellent, quality is of a high standard The postage was very slow to Australia and communication was poor I never received a reply to my enquirer as why I had not received my wool But it arrived safely and I am very happy with it Thanknyou

  The website and ordering was great, wool is beautiful - my only negative is nothing to do with Bergère but the postal service, as by box it was sent is was totally bashed up!

  I have used Bergere yarns for some time, usually buying from British stockist. I bought directly from Bergere as I noticed that some of my purchases were offered with a good discount, eg buy 4 balls and get one free, which at least helps o cover the cost of postage.

  Excellent service as my wife needed another ball. No problems. Excellent products. in the late 60's my wife ran a wool shop and the nearest to your yarns would be Penguine.

  Every courtesy, patience and kindness given .... truly ensure customer satisfaction. I have always found this to be so whenever I have requested information, etc. Important to note, Bergere de France has NEVER mixed dye lots, absolutely trustworthy in supplying an order correctly... quickly too.
