  Fairly easy site to use, once I tried a few times. In Australia we use metric weights and measures and English needle sizes NOT American. I had to switch between English and French pages to work everything out i.e. grams, yarn length and needle sizes. Cheers.

  The website navigation is okay, but unfortunately the products list shows items as available when in fact, they're not. I opened many pages that ended up not even showing the colour option I clicked on. Delivery is way out from what it says on the website and they don't inform you unless you contact customer service, who estimated 7th of December now. They should at least say that delivery is currently delayed somewhere on the website. Judging by the fact that customer service said they'd update me further on my order status, it still has not actually been shipped. I ordered my item on 23rd of November. It is 4th of December and I still haven't received it. My parcel is supposedly being delivered via Hermes, but the tracking on email and on website says it's IMX. Neither tracking works. Realistically, it doesn't take 2 weeks+ to just pack and ship my order as I only ordered 1 item type. Customer service representative is very good, kept me updated when I asked first time, however they were also unable to process order faster when requested, instead offering to refund. If I knew my order would take this long and customer service while friendly were unable to help do anything I wouldn't have ordered. I now have to work overtime to finish the gift with the wool I ordered 1 month in advance for Christmas just so I have enough time to ship it.

  I like ordering yarn from Bergere. Navigation on the site is easy and painless. I like the way that everything you will need to complete a project is listed when ordering, just deleting the item if it’s not needed. The patterns are nice and modern, even the free ones. Delivery is excellent; living in the Middle East, deliveries tent to take a while to arrive; Bergere Deliveries are usually here within 2 weeks. 👍 I also like - not like, love, the promotions they have. I look forward to these and often buy my yarn on bulk when the promotions are on. 🧶

  This site is easy to use and you can see what you are getting but for more information in the pattern books I recommend getting the FREE pattern catalogue. This is full of the designs and wool choices you can see before you decide if the pattern book is for you. It takes a bit of time for delivery but as it’s coming from France, it’s well worth the wait.

  How could I have left a review if I had not received the order. It has now arrived, it took so long that I had forgotten what I had ordered. I was promised a catalogue, that has not arrived, will I ever receive one? without it I cannot place an order in future. The other thing is I have used your patterns, which are so badly written and badly translated it is impossible to understand it. As for your customer service is non-existent there is noway of contacting you, contact numbers do not work. Please take note to the comments and make our lives easier, or I will have to go to another company.

  I am still waiting on my order I ordered about 2.5 weeks ago. I’ve tried to contact them, but the website is difficult to navigate unless you are buying something. About a week ago I got an email to say I had received a shipping email (which I hadn’t) after, as opposed to when, my item had shipped due to a computer malfunction. This email never came. My order still says processing on the website. I emailed them in reply to this email, as I haven’t been able to figure out another way to contact them, but have heard nothing. I won’t be ordering from them again. Their customer service is seemingly non existent. I’m usually not one to leave negative reviews, but I’m just so frustrated at this point. I get with Covid things are slow, but the fact that I’ve been unable to contact anyone is unacceptable.

  I have given 4 stars instead of 5 because I found the site is a little difficult to manage - found I couldn't find advice page I was looking for on techniques - found the pattern I wanted and bought a pdf download able pattern which took a little time to download. Like all non British written knitting patterns I find it quite hard to read it and work everything out but it's just because British and European patterns are for different audiences. However, it is worth it as the pattern designs are so much more exciting than I can find in UK! I received a booklet with samples of wools and colours which is just fabulous! I wish all manufacturers would do this as it makes ordering on line so much easier and risk free colour and texture wise - so WELL DONE for that Bergere!

  Item (two cushions) ordered 10 days ago has not arrived and I had to contact BDF to know why. Answer was item "probably out of stock" but still no definite answer from BDF. Very disappointed. I have also ordered some wool on the UK site which, I hope, will arrive soon. Last chance. If not, I will forget the whole BDF website.
