  No problem with the pattern download, I was able to do so within a few minutes. The wool took two weeks to arrive, but it was international shipping. I wasn't able to track to find out where it was, but my email enquiring was answered within the hour with the information as to where it was.

  Very easy to navigate the site. Really easy to complete the order. Very impressed with how low the delivery charge is, especially coming from France. I would have given 5* but it said the wool would be delivered within 7-10 days. In actual fact I received an email after 8 days saying it had been dispatched and then it arrived 10 days after that, so almost 3 weeks in total. I didn’t particularly mind under current circumstances but would have preferred to know in advance rather than have my hopes dashed every day when the postman never came.

  It’s a decent website, with quality products. After placing an order there does appear to be a lack of emails detailing when the order has been despatched and when delivery can be expected. The last two orders have taken approx 2 weeks to arrive. I do appreciate that these items are coming France and the delivery time may be longer as a result.

  Usually when you purchase a PDF download, it is available almost immediately. When purchasing from the Bergere de France website, you have to wait between ten minutes and half an hour before the download is available. The first time this happened I was a bit worried that it wasn't going to work when the status stayed at pending for what is a long time in the world of instant downloads. Otherwise I am happy with the PDF patterns and magazines that I have purchased in the last few years and would recommend them to other knitters.

  I placed the order on Feb the 8th and received it today only when it is indicated that delivery will be in 7 to 10 days. A bit disappointed! It would have been nice to receive the yarn in a plastic or paper bag inside the cardboard box as a lot of tiny small pieces and dust of cardboard are now on my white yarn! A bit disapointed too

  I used to receive my orders within a week of purchase but lately it takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks. I am always pleased with the quality of the wool but lately the process after completing an order seems to fall into a black hole with no update on the progress of my order.

  Communication with Bergère de France is simply non-existent I put my order through 12 days ago, heard after 10 days it had been dispatched (why it took 10 days to dispatch is incredible...) - email notification says I can track my package using a link provided .... no link and my email to Bergère has remained unanswered .... not impressed

  I love B de F wool for its excellent quality and the pattern I bought as a pdf was easy to download. However I found it impossible to order the wool I wanted for it. Next to the pattern were details of the wool required. I didn't want Vannerie again as I've got some left from another project. I could change the colour but could not input the quantity I wanted for another pattern. The Pinede colour would not come up with the order. When I went to the wool section everytime I clicked on Pinede it came up with Meije yet the website indicated Pinede in stock. I got so frustrated that in the end I gave up and I will have to purchase from another shop or abandon the project. This was a very frustrating experience and I am very disappointed as the wool is such good quality.

  I love the range of wools, embroidery threads and they are very well priced. I would have given 5 stars but dropped a star because delivery was very slow. I do understand that disruptions at the border may have exacerbated this. I will order again.

  The site is good, the choice of yarns is good. I have been using their wools for a long time and always been satisfied with the quality. My only concern is the tax imposed on an order which seems to have increased and the delivery time which has been longer than usual. Consequence of Brexit no doubt but will certainly take that into account it when I need more wool.

  Customer service didn’t assist at all when I asked for help. When the sale is closed and paid on beforehand the assistente is nill, the client is of zero importance. A great pitty. I assume that your client service itself is of no importante an could maybe submitted.

  This is an excellent company to deal with. The quality of their yarn is excellent, as is the range of colours and ply. I love knitting with their wool and would recommend them to anyone.
