  Unfortunately the experience I had on this day was not up to sushi shop standards, I had ordered a happy sushi box in the morning, to be picked up at 12.15 but had to wait until 12.45 to get my order in the restaurant. Also the salmon teriyaki sushi, which are my favourite, were missing, what a disappointment :(

  They rwere running out of tuna but really made sure we left happy, which we did. Food was delicious. I used to dislike sushishop when we were doing delivery now that we do pick up we are never disappointed as the quality of the sushi is really good.

  I like Sushi Shop, but experience ordering in the app was not great. I placed the order, but for 1 hour it was in status "order in preparation". I went to sushi place after 1 hour to pick up my order. I complained that the app was not updating the progress of the order, but staff told me that they do not have control over the app. It is my favorite sushi place and quality is always good.

  Whenever packaged in this way, the edamame beans tend to be small and somewhat dried out making them less palatable and reflect poorly on an otherwise quaility serving.

  The overall ambiance in the store is one of rushed. The staff don’t appear to be very focused, constant orders coming in from apps & Deliveroo etc. No greeting, just quick query about what we wanted. Since the paper menus were removed the process of selecting menu items is clinical. There is no visual stimulation as it’s not possible to see what each item is, as before. The feeling is the business has become clinical and lost its passion for food. Much like a conveyor belt. Also the portions have decreased in size. Very sad.
