  I recently tried the spicy tuna poke bowl from a local restaurant, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. Despite the name of the dish, it was not at all spicy. The tuna itself lacked flavor and tasted very bland. Overall, the poke bowl was very disappointing and did not leave a lasting impression. I would not recommend this dish to anyone looking for a flavorful and spicy meal.

  The quality of the sushi last definitely declined significantly over the last year or 2 from the branch in Notting Hill. Ive been ordering on a regular basis since 2020 and I after a few recent disappointing orders where the rice isn't fresh, the thickness of the fish on the specialty rolls is far less generous than it used to be. Not sure if this is a more global issue or just relevant to my local branch. I will no longer be using Sushi shop, not to mention they failed to include to or my ordered sushi rolls.

  Your food is always amazing a bit pricey but its worth it. However yesterday on collecting my order the greeting that I got was far from the normal that I receive in there. The young girl had a very sour face, wasn't very welcoming and when I checked to see if she had put in my extra sweet sauce that I had paid for she hadn't. When I kindly said it was missing, her face said it all. I thought I had paid for 2 extra but she sighed and pointed to the receipt where it stated I indeed had only paid for 1 extra. Her attitude wasn't very friendly at all... and it has put me off slightly from going into the store for a bit.

  The woman in the store is very rude. It is never pleasurable speaking to her on the phone for our order or picking up in store. The happy sushi box was quite good but our additional products disappointed. The mochi were frostbitten, the french touch was poorly assembled and falling apart as well as there was no fig jam in the roll. Additionally, we asked for "everything" when she asked if we wanted soy, wasabi, etc... but we got home and were disappointed that there was no sweet soy. We expected this to be included with everything else as it usually is.

  I think the service staff never asked me about my loyalty point account. Also at the store all the sandos were gone, and also only large sizes of poke bowls. Wish the plastic covers / soya sauce pots and dipping post ares more environmentally friendly

  As always... Sushishop has really good quality sushi, but WHY on earth do you have to mess every orders all the time? I don't remember having placed an order in the past that had exactly what I wanted... you always either forget things or put the wrong items, which is extremely annoying. And obviously, the contact/request form on your website is pointless because you only care whenever we give you a bad review. Anyway, food is good, but the orders are always wrong... it doesn't harm to double check everything you know?

  I have to say that last 2 times when I had my orders, the presentation was very poor.   The food was delicious but customer service leaves to desire... Not a welcoming smile, just an exasperated face every time... When you've had a long hard day and want to treat yourself to some luxurious items, a smile and a friendly face can go a long way... Not sure I'll come back because of that... You are made to feel like you are annoying, you need to repeat things and now I need to check my bag every time, which I never used to do, to check if the sauces, wasabi and ginger were there as on several occasions in the past they weren't there and caused a huge disappointement to the family and guests.

When ordering, there is an option for chopsticks, wasabi etc. I had asked for not chopsticks as I have too many at home and don't want to keep throwing them away as it is unnecessary waste, and I opted out of wasabi and ginger which I don't like and again otherwise throw away, yet I wad given two of each. If nobody reads it, why give the option. Prices for skewers are extremely high, and it would be nice to have mixed menus that match those at sushi restaurants in France since Sushi Shop comes from Paris. (And many of us Frenchies would like to find similar menus to those in France)

  I've always liked the chef special sushi boxes and was looking forward to try this one as well. But it was really underwhelming, the flavours were quite strange and did not balance well. There wasn't a single item in the box that I would like to reorder again. The beef was particularly bad: it was too raw and unchewable, I had to spit it out.

  Smaller size but more selection of rolls but otherwise fresh and tasty. However the experience at the shop was bad. The staff member who served me was rude, and unwelcoming. The music was blaring and they wouldn’t turn it down but insisted on asking my phone number 4 times to get it right. They were talking wit their back to me and gave me 1 wasabi, and 1 ginger because I asked to repeat what they were asking me. The staff needs to be trained. I singe out this person as everyone else has been friendly.

  Excellent with the product. Only issue I have is on the wait time and lack of clarity. I did order for pickup. Got on the app that my order would be available for pickup at 19:15. At that time, I was at the shop. They told me "7 to 10 min more, please wait outside". The order wasnt ready before 19:40. AND the worse in all this is that the app isnt updated with actual delivery times. In other words, your customers have no other option than to wait at the store or close to the store because they dont know when their order will be ready. At 21:00 my order was still "in preparation, ready for 19:15" in the app!
