  Totally disappointed. Product was not available - again! I feel like I’m wasting my time ordering on the website and then receiving a phone call from the shop saying they can’t fulfil my order. Next time I’ll phone the shop to place my order. The website is unable to reflect real-time availability

  Your website let me order for pickup at 11.30am. The shop opens at midday. This isn't very helpful. Effectively, due to train times, you have wasted an hour of my day.

  Your food is always amazing a bit pricey but its worth it. However yesterday on collecting my order the greeting that I got was far from the normal that I receive in there. The young girl had a very sour face, wasn't very welcoming and when I checked to see if she had put in my extra sweet sauce that I had paid for she hadn't. When I kindly said it was missing, her face said it all. I thought I had paid for 2 extra but she sighed and pointed to the receipt where it stated I indeed had only paid for 1 extra. Her attitude wasn't very friendly at all... and it has put me off slightly from going into the store for a bit.

  The veggie rolls were really lovely, I just wish their had been an avocado free option that had more than just cucumber- but that’s my own personal preference as I don’t like avocado, apart from that everything was as exceptional as usual.

  The woman in the store is very rude. It is never pleasurable speaking to her on the phone for our order or picking up in store. The happy sushi box was quite good but our additional products disappointed. The mochi were frostbitten, the french touch was poorly assembled and falling apart as well as there was no fig jam in the roll. Additionally, we asked for "everything" when she asked if we wanted soy, wasabi, etc... but we got home and were disappointed that there was no sweet soy. We expected this to be included with everything else as it usually is.

  The ordering process and delivery where fine. But I did not receive the correct order. After I placed my order I received a call to inform my the crunchy veg salad was not available. I substituted edamame. When I received my order I didn’t have the chicken katsu Sando. I called to say it was missing and the same lady said yes she forgot to tell me the sando was not available. An important miss. So you called to tell me the salad wasn’t available but forgot to tell me the main sando was not as well? Not happy because I would have cancelled the entire order. A refund is processing (I hope) and she said it will take a couple of days.

  Product does not taste fresh. Tasted like smelly feet in my mouth. Cooked tuna for california dream, false advertising. -- Was canned tuna. Overall produce and product seems to have gotten worse over time.

  Personally I did not like the "green skin" on some of the rolls and would have liked more Gari but everything else was delicious, so happy a sushi place will finally deliver to Saltdean, I will defiantly be back

  My wife is vegetarian and your "veggie box" is just perfect. Not just "token" but a creative, tastey and delicious vegetarian optionm. I took the teriyaki salmon poke bowl which as every was a real treat.

  The Marylebone store is shabby, dirty and smells bad. No amount of chic packaging is going to make up for that. I had a long wait for my sushi to be ready, despite ordering in advance, and some of the items where not available. Really poor customer service.

  We did not have any ginger, when I picked up I asked if I had 3 pairs of chopsticks etc. Answer was yes yes. But when I arrived home.... No No nothing there !! Worst of all the "sweet" nutella Avocado roll was between the other two, in the SAME box !! Nutella had run out onto the "fish" makis... Bad bad, should ahve a special, separate container.

  I sent an email to Sushishop given I was extremely disappointed about the Sashimi (16£ for 15 very very small slices that are nowhere comparable to other sashimi I got in other places). I was ordering to sushishop once a week, but will order somwhere else given they didn't even respond to my complaint (order number 10495569)

  The food always come good and the fact I had a discount made us order from Sushi shop. But we always have something missing, this time was wasabi. The app is getting better but still when finished the payment came an error and after I got the email with confirmation. Delivery took 20 min more than estimated in the app

  The food is excellent - truly excellent. We have ordered the 42 piece sushi box several times and it has been outstanding each time. We have bought the box at full price twice and the Wednesday deal at £19.99 three times. In terms of value for money your Wednesday sushi box deal is outstanding - one of the best we have seen out there. We do feel though that the higher price is restrictive and prohibitive - for example we would be very likely to spend £20 more often on your deal even on days when we would not normally order out. At the higher price we would order infrequently, once a month at most. With your meal deal, we would order up to three or four times as the food and value for money make it very hard to overlook. With the meal deal I would recommend this at a 10 using the scale below but at a 6-7 at full price. Hope this helps! Thank you for the lovely food!

  The app doesn't work. I was waiting out of the store as the "status track" bar was still staying my order was in prep. After more than 30 min I went into the store and the shop assistant told me my order was ready longtime ago. Very bad customer experience!

  The food was great, Sushi shop is my 'go to' when I want sushi. However, this is where the positives stop. If the standard of food ever drops, I will probably stop going to Sushi shop. Ordering on the App or online is a nightmare. The App is amateur, it did not recognise my birthday reward code (online it didn't either) it did not save my credit card details and after the third time of trying to pay I had to go online to complete the order. I finally made the order and turned up to the the restaurant to collect and whilst I was very happy to have no waiting time and the order was ready. The cashier could have been much more welcoming, I can't imagine she sees too many people a day in the current circumstances so to welcome people in and thank them genuinely is so important. Instead I got a lethargic "what's your name" and it seemed an inconvenience that I had entered the restaurant.

  tried to use website and app but both proved impossible. this has been an ongoing issue with little result from the technical team. apart from messages and issues being in french (!!) the website has a mind of its own and cancels everything. One loses patience. Food generally good and staff at shop helpful, again would be better if some of them spoke better english. A lot of competition out there ......

  Very late delivery. Sushi not fresh (despite getting freshly made after error in delivery). Some of the rice was hard to chew. When you get it right, your sushi is great, but it's hit and miss. Too often not fresh and rarely delivered on time.
