  I've rented from Ski HIgher twice, and I've been very impressed both times. The equipment is first-rate, and the people are even better! They are very efficient without making us feel hurried, and even in busy times they are smiling and welcoming. I won't rent from anyone else.

  The staff in the La Rosiere shop are so friendly and helpful. Best ski hire venue we’ve used in 20 years of skiing. We’ll definitely go there again

  When we arrived having paid for the top ski boot package it felt like we ended up with what was left in the store. In other words there was no contingency for a burst arriving with specific requirements l. This is generally the case with most shops and you end up just taking whet there is ! The staff generally just shrug their shoulders and convince you you have had a good deal .

  Helpful, friendly staff, good quality equipment. Would have liked the option to hire lockers there overnight as accommodation charged for ski room - if I’m going to pay would rather it was for somewhere near the lifts!!

  Location was great. I rent skiing gear for a bigger group and all in all we were satisfied. However, for one group member there were no fitting ski boots availiable (he has oversized feet and only one pair was there, which actually was broken).

  Staff can be particularly rude and dismissive I understand times can get busy but they need to manage customer expectations better without being rude and dismissive. It would help if some learnt better English. The majority of clients in this resort are English so they need to learn the language better. The equipment was excellent.

  The staff at Quartz/Muriel are absolutely brilliant. They remember their customers from year to year, their equipment is top notch and they are absolute experts in what they do. I once rented equipment from another shop in Monetier, but the difference in quality in service was huge; never again. They have also been hugely helpful when someone took my skis accidentally and when I injured myself during the holiday. If you are renting equipment in Monêtier-les-Bains, look no further, this is the place.

  This is the third ski hire company I have used in Les Menuires and the best by a very long way. Friendly staff, we were not treated like cattle at a market and the skis themselves were much better quality than what we have rented previously. I will be using store again next year.

  Great service, great gear and great prices. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, we didn’t have chance to use our skis - we had picked them up and the next day the resort had closed. We took them back the next day and received a refund, no problem.

  The quality of the hire equipment was very high, for the amount of money that they cost. The staff were also incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, especially when I needed to change my boots, due to the first ones being not quite the right fit. I would highly recommend and use skimium again for any future ski holiday.

  I've used Skimium in several resorts and this one was no exception; excellent as ever. Even gave me a refund on the unused days after an unfortunate accident where I dislocated my shoulder which went towards lunch to cheer us all up!
