Verified reviewSeemed a smaller rental place than others close by (e.g. intersport) and whilst service was satisfactory, I felt quite consistently that we were looked down on. E.g. we decided to change skis from traditional groomers to something wider as the snow forecast was dumping for 3 days and when I asked for this the first response was "you have the right skis, you don't need to change". I also had it when we returned skis, my son's ski had a gash and we really didn't recall when it happened, but we were interrogated for 20mins as if we had damaged it on purpose. As it is, I had insurance (defn get this), so there was no cost and they were covered, so this stance just wasn't needed. Ultimately I don't know if this was just a language / communication thing, but I have never had this in US or Canada coming from Australia or indeed on my local slopes ... like this could just be normal service in Meribel, I don't know. One positive note though is that when we first arrrived, they did keep the shop open for 5 plus mins into the lunchtime close so we could fit our skis (albeit I had no idea everything closed at lunch, like that feels insane to me).

Verified reviewFriendly and very helpful. I didn’t take the original boots that were chosen for me, but the replacement ones were very wet inside after skiing which is the only reason for 4 stars. My hotel didn’t have a decent drying room though, so I returned two days later and they were easily changed. The following day, the wrong skis were taken on the ski lift (either by me or the other person) and in the evening the shop contacted me. I returned the “wrong” skis that evening and they replaced them with different ones. The others in our group had no issues throughout the week. Excellent service.
