  Your website kept on slipping my booking forward a day, eventually I had to phone the ski hire shop direct to confirm they had the right dates for my booking. Also your ski insurance is not direct with the hiring shop so if you already have travel insurance with snow sports cover it is irrelevant as it is just another travel insurance policy where you have to pay the shop for any loss or damage and claim it back from Skimium with the added complication that Skimium and your Travel Insurance will both want you to claim off the other one. Be honest guys, this is a con and you should cease doing it or at least explain it is for people without any snow sports cover on their travel insurance. A real shame as the shop itself was fantastic and offered a brilliant service.

  Very easy to book online. When we arrived to collect the kit, the shop had the skis all set up to each persons height and weight, so it was just a matter of checking that the ski boots fitted and then everything else had been pre done. Saved a lot of time and hassle in the shop. Great service throughout. Would highly recommend.

  Booked for intermediate lessons. Got left in the beginner group with individuals that hadn’t skied before (including adding brand new beginners each day.) If you don’t have enough bookings to support a level, that’s not my fault. Resulted in being left with beginners despite having skied before slowing progress and wasting time doing beginner stuff (like how to put on skis…) Would avoid in the future.

  Website appears to get confused easily. It wouldn't show any options for women at one stage and then took 2 payments and made 2 reservations but only sent 1 email confirmation. I Iost money because of the exchange rate when I got the refund for the second booking whicb I had to manually cancel. 1 year after I reported the problem, the website still shows the wrong start and end dates for bookings. The start and end dates do not agree with what is booked and what is shown on the confirmation emails.

  The reason I gave a 3 star rating is that I booked our skis early to take advantage of the 'early booking discounted charges', there was a mix-up apparently which resulted in my booking being cancelled and me having to re-book my ski package, this resulted in the charges being more expensive than my first booking, even with the discount code given I still paid more for my package than my first booking. In the past I paid a deposit then paid the balance on completion of my holiday and only paying for the days used, now I have to pay up front regardless of whether we used our skis for the full days booked or not, 3 of my party did not use the full 8 days but I did not get a refund for the un-used days, this would not have happened before you changed your payment policy, I may have to look at alternative ski hire companies although I don't want to leave Action Sports in Morzine as we have gotten very friendly with the owner of Action Sports who is, and has always been the most helpful and friendliest of people.

  I was able to book my equipment on line with ease. I had some trouble paying initially, but that was due to my bank blocking the payment to conduct fraud checks. When I arrived at the resort the shop knew the requirements and I was able to pick up the equipment straight away. The equipment was good quality, the Ski-boots were a perfect fit and very comfortable. Handing back the equipment at the end of the week was also vert straightforward and simple. A very good service all round, thank you.

  Really difficult to use for an English-speaking user, even though I've done it for several years. Wanted to add insurance but missed the place so had to cancel the booking and redo it. Made more difficult by the complications of contacting Skimium. They did help but the language problem made it tricky for me to understand what was happening. I'm grateful for the help but I found it worrying that I might have paid twice.

  Super fast and easy procedure with getting ski equipment, friendly stuff and no problems with getting new pair of skies when ones you get at the begging weren't working for you. I didn't like some hidden costs that appear at the end of booking, extra 4€ there, 2€ here, and it gets around 15€ more than you wanted to spend.

  Only reason this is not a 5 star is that I paid for tops skis but I am not sure I got them. It would be better if you paid for actual skis and then you could check the level you receive ( I.e you pay for Atomic 123 X skis)

  There was one pair of poles missing and we lost some time trying to contact the store to solve it. My daughter skis didn’t slide. We asked for assistance but nobody showed up to wax them or change them and I had to rent another pair os skis for her at the ski station.

  After booking the Skimium website "My Bookings" showed my reservation for different dates to that of my email confirmation & pdf Rental Confirmation. This caused confusion and worry that the booking was incorrect. The Email & pdf Rental Confirmation was correct. On first attempt at booking this caused me to cancel my order as I thought I had entered the dates incorrectly. Other than this the booking engine is easy to use. The rental all went well in the end.

  the website was easy to work with - though it did have a bit of a snag when moving from Checkout to actually paying - but overall the booking process was easy enough to handle. Customer service is great as well, we were very well taken care of there.
