  I preferred this company from SKISET (although it seems they belong to the same owner) as I could change skis during my stay. They offered me amazing set of skis and I was very pleased with the service. Yet it all comes to the final price.

  None of the ski's advertised on the website as gold all mountain were available in the rental shop. The did not hold any of the advertised ski's in their stock therefore I consider the Skimium website to be engage in false advertising.

  The equipment were ok and easy to book. However I had to buy a globe because mine was lost. After I got the hotel I found my glove and return do the store to do a reimbursement or change for another product but the guy told me that was not allowed. So I got disapointed

  Overall good, just needs a bit of refinement especially when it comes to the payment as the latter went into a loop when i clicked to make the payment and had to do it again to get ti to work. Great staff in shop - everything was ready and labelled when I arrived.

  No interest in the customers when we entered the shop, no testing was done to ensure correct fit. There was a screw missing in my snowboard which inhad to get repaired at another shop before i even went boarding, lucky i noticed as this could have been very dangerous. Dont think i will be using this hire shop again

  Ordered online, turned up at the Val d'Isere shop and our group (6 people) were in and out in 30 minutes. Dropped off the skis took 5 minutes.Brilliant! We booked very early and got a great discount.

  The website is easy to use. At the shop in Les Contamines the staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help customers get the best experience. Happy to change equipment if there is a problem or you just wish to try a different pair of skis or boots. Every year it’s like greeting old friends.

  The problem was not Skimium, but the the actual rental equipment was not what I had ordered. Once I went to pick up my skis, it turned out that the shop suppling the skis (Nordic esports) did not infact have all-mountain skis available at all. I was offered very wide waisted powder skis or the choice of giant slamon skis. The skis themselves were not the latest models as promised and many of the models I looked at were at least 2 to 4 years old. Also the condition of the skis was very bad. The bases had big scratches and the whole bottom was covered in a huge layer of wax, The edges were not as sharp as they should have been. Overall, as I said, the problem was not Skimium but the store that supplied the skis. I hope Skimium takes this into consideration when chosing their partners.
