  Very friendly, helpful service. Absolutely no problem at all when some of the group needed to change their skis. The only reason not given 5 is that we gave all our info up front, hight weight etc but were asked it again whilst fitting skis. Maybe the team could print off this info in readiness so we don’t have to say our weight publicly. Some people uncomfortable doing this.

  Poor selection of skis, no choice in ski size or different skis (told nothing longer than 174cm available in the store when both of us ski usually with longer skis!!) and the skis given were poorly maintained. Given boots based on what I said were my shoe size with no attempt to measure feet, so ended up with boots too big twice. Hire shop assistant did not appear knowledgeable nor helpful. Should have gone to Intersport or one of the other ski shops - where have had better experience before - regardless of discount codes and decathlon discount it wasn't worth it....you get better by paying a bit more elsewhere.

  I paid for intermediate skis but was given old worn skis which we refused and asked for refund. They then gave us fairly new skis which were grand . I also paid for insurance when booking but they said they knew nothing about that!

  Friendly and very helpful. I didn’t take the original boots that were chosen for me, but the replacement ones were very wet inside after skiing which is the only reason for 4 stars. My hotel didn’t have a decent drying room though, so I returned two days later and they were easily changed. The following day, the wrong skis were taken on the ski lift (either by me or the other person) and in the evening the shop contacted me. I returned the “wrong” skis that evening and they replaced them with different ones. The others in our group had no issues throughout the week. Excellent service.

  We went to the shop at the bottom of the mountain where we were supposed to go to collect our equipment. We were greeted with a huge school trip, at 9am, and was told we’d be better off going up the mountain to the sister shop. We did this and after a long queue into this shop we were charged again for warranty and theft protection despite me explaining that I had already paid for this online but was told it wouldn’t count as it was through Skimium not their shop. We didn’t get on the slopes till 10:30am after all this.

  Turned up and initially told I was in the wrong store. Went outside and walked in through a different door and saw the same lady that agreed I was in the correct place once she saw my booking reservation. Skis looked very poor quality and condition with much wear and tear. Not what I would expect for the top but one of your range. The original skis that were in the rack with my name were way too long despite giving correct information on the online reservation. Disappointing.

  Really helpful staff. No issues with communicating in english. The equipment was perfect and they made sure that it fitted well. You can store the equipment there every day and pick it up the next morning. The whole process was really easy and quick, including the boking itself. I'd highly recommend this place.

  Myself and my four children had an amazing experience with the hire shop. From the moment we arrived and had ski fit done to the day we finished all the staff were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was to much trouble which made our ski holiday very enjoyable. I had paid for the top set skis and they was very helpful when I wanted to try different styles of skis. The shop was recommended by a good friend who works for ESF as an instructor, Cookie and I will back that up. Great location also.

  Guys in the store were helpful in giving tips and advice on skiing areas. Did have an issue with ski on first day with one not fitting properly - soon resolved by someone at chairlift help. Forgot to mention to shop on ski return. Have used Skimium many times and will use them again.

  Great experience. We pre booked online and supplied our height, weight etc in advance. Our skis were waiting for us on arrival and just needed adjusted for the boots. We took insurance out in advance and were so glad we did. On day two of our holiday someone accidentally took my partners skis. The staff were very helpful and quickly supplies us with replacement skis, we just needed to supply a police report from the local station.

  Great experience, no issues with our hire. Equipment was issued in quick time and was in good condition. Staff were helpful, I did have to ask to be able to keep my skis in the store at the end of each day, but no issues.

  This is the 4th time we've rented from Simond Sports Foret Flaine and the equipment and service was first class. No trouble to change anything and all the staff are welcoming and helpful especially Arthur who is a STAR.

  The location was very good, really close to the St. Gervais lift, and with parking spaces outside the shop door. The service was great: our equipment was ready waiting for us, and the attendant was very helpful providing adjustments until we were all happy. Drop off was super-easy and quick.

  We were a group of 9 (family and friends) from NI with a variety of skiing abilities. We had a great fitting with Alex and Terence…they had much of our equipment prepared in advance so it was quick and easy. My 2 sons wanted to try all mountain skis for the final couple of days and the guys in the store were happy to accommodate this . Returns were equally as efficient. Thank you.
