  The guys at Skiloc 2300 were superb. Lovely people, funny, nice and jolly. Well done them. All was fine. Minor point - I had to make a change to the original booking, but could not do online, so emailed twice but this did not get to them. It did not matter in the end as they just accommodated anyway, but just for info. Steve

  Very helpful staff in the La Plagne Villages Skimium shop. The equipment was excellent. The staff had good tips about the easiest runs to re-learn skiing after a year away. My wife sadly broke her collar bone on the toboggan run (Colorado Luge at Le Plagne) and they gave a refund for the unused days of her ski hire. We were also able to order fresh baguettes and croissants each morning from the Skimium shop.

  A couple of our group wanted to change their skis for one reason or another. This was not a problem at all when they re-visited the hire shop and they were promptly given alternative equipment. We would highly recommend Skimium for their helpfulness and assistance throughout our stay.

  We picked up our gear at peak time on a Saturday evening, so had to wait quite a while and it wasn't certain that they would have the right size helmets for us. But the staff in the shop were lovely and very calm and cheerful in spite of the queues, which made it a much more bearable experience. Merci beaucoup!

  Les ski étaient en bon état mais les fixations vieillissantes. Les fixations arrières ne tenait pas bien, malgré un reglage au poids, je pouvais enlever mon ski a l'arrêt en tapant a plat sur l'avant du ski. J'ai pris une mauvaise chute à cause de cela et me suis blessé.

  Lack of guidance during boot fitting left us confused. Otherwise great service from other employees. Unfortunately I received defective bits with a metal part jutting through the liner and against the top of my foot leaving me blistered and in pain for the whole holiday, even with the 15 euros I spent on protective plasters. I replaced the boot as soon as the problem was obvious but by then the damage was done. Quality checks have clearly been insufficient.

  Good and friendly service in store but I was hoping your policy would be more flexible in providing me with some money back for only taking the skis for 2 days instead of 4 (as I had prepaid for 4 but plans had changed). I'm unlikely to book online again due to this inflexibility as I paid a lot more money that I should have.

  None of the equipment advertised on the website was available despite requesting it weeks in advance. We had to make do with equipment is cheaper packages than what we had paid for due to limited availability. I have requested a part refund in store but still awaiting any progress on this.

  My skis were a bit old and tatty, my friend's skis seemed ok. The shop was busy. I always enter shoe size height and weight but The fitting always seems to happen on the fly. I am never convinced that paying for the more expensive packages makes much difference but there is no way to know.The final stage of the process involved me handing my voucher to the boss. He looked at it and shook his head and said, "you should have given this to me earlier". All that said, I did look at the cost of ski hire in some other local shops and the prices seemed to be considerably higher

  Excellent service. I was able to pick up the equipment the afternoon before my rental period started which was very convenient. After the first day I was able to switch the skis out to a different type that suited the conditions and my skiing style better.

  Helpful, friendly and very efficient. Needed a bit of equipment adjustment after my first day skiing, which wasn’t a problem and involved some friendly chat, a joke and advice. Excellent staff.
