Verified reviewI have been a Skimium customer for many years – each time booking online beforehand. Usually, it works fine. For example, earlier this season I rented skis in Cortina and they had been properly checked and prepared before I collected them. However, most recently in Ardents, Montriond – on day one, it was clear this had not happened. I discovered there was a small gouge on the base which needed to be fixed and the edges were in poor condition. They were high spec skis – but were horrible to use. At the end of the first day, when I brought this to the attention of the staff the edges were sharpened overnight. It did mean that skiing on the first day was compromised. Most, not all, of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Verified reviewI had to return my skis twice due to poor quality at the Ardent site. The first skis the breaks were really loose and wonky making it impossible to carry the skis, the second skis unclipped multiple times which was very dangerous. One of the staff members was extremely rude, I asked can they guarantee if the skis would be of sufficient quality the third time round and he shortly replied if they are not you will just have to come back. No apology. This falls far below the standard expected for customer service. Most of their inventory appears worn out, chipped and in dire need of updating.
