Verified reviewGood and friendly service in store but I was hoping your policy would be more flexible in providing me with some money back for only taking the skis for 2 days instead of 4 (as I had prepaid for 4 but plans had changed). I'm unlikely to book online again due to this inflexibility as I paid a lot more money that I should have.

Verified reviewI spent a week in Val D’Isere La Dailey in early January. I rented a premium package from Skimium, having booked online. Fast, efficient, and friendly. I hate a slight problem with a pole and they were quick to replace, no questions asked.

Verified reviewVery easy, good discounts. Felt like value for money. However, the quality of the equipment when I picked it up was very poor. The skis were battered and had large flakes of fibreglass missing. One of the poles was bent. The boots were extremely uncomfortable and the worst I have ever hired.

Verified reviewGreat service as usual, friendly and helpful staff, kit was good, although the boots didn't fit very well, so ended up buying a brand new pair of boots after just 2 hours of skiing. Took the hire boots back and kept going with the skis. No problem.

Verified reviewYour website kept on slipping my booking forward a day, eventually I had to phone the ski hire shop direct to confirm they had the right dates for my booking. Also your ski insurance is not direct with the hiring shop so if you already have travel insurance with snow sports cover it is irrelevant as it is just another travel insurance policy where you have to pay the shop for any loss or damage and claim it back from Skimium with the added complication that Skimium and your Travel Insurance will both want you to claim off the other one. Be honest guys, this is a con and you should cease doing it or at least explain it is for people without any snow sports cover on their travel insurance. A real shame as the shop itself was fantastic and offered a brilliant service.
