Verified reviewElpro had partnership with our hotel so provided transport from hotel to the hire shop and back again. Great! Then changed my skis on day one to a pair that suited me better. Also great! Then picked our skis up from hotel at the end. Easy!

Verified reviewPretty disinterested staff. Tried to add €30 charge to pick up skis from hotel who have agreement with them to pick up. Claimed we hadn’t booked through hotel even though had used the link the hotel sent. Skis were also used and battered, kept all the new ones back, even though beginning of season. Thoroughly dishonest.

Verified reviewAs we were flying from South Africa and arriving late afternoon on the Friday, we made an email request to collect our equipment that afternoon. The shop responded favourably but when we went to the shop we were told that we couldn't and that all the equipment had to be dried out from the previous weeks rentals. In the morning a large group had arrived just before us at the shop and we were caught up in a long queue, which is exactly what we were trying to avoid. The equipment we were given had definitely seen better days and was pretty battered and worn. Having said that the staff were very receptive to changing the worn boots and helmet a few days in to our 10 day rental. Overriding feeling was that it was a long way to come to be given second grade equipment.

This was not a problem at all when they re-visited the hire shop and they were promptly given alternative equipment. We would highly recommend Skimium for their helpfulness and assistance throughout our stay.

Verified reviewLack of guidance during boot fitting left us confused. Otherwise great service from other employees. Unfortunately I received defective bits with a metal part jutting through the liner and against the top of my foot leaving me blistered and in pain for the whole holiday, even with the 15 euros I spent on protective plasters. I replaced the boot as soon as the problem was obvious but by then the damage was done. Quality checks have clearly been insufficient.
